Went in for the first time on Sunday night with my husband and brother. My husband had been before many years ago and recommended we try it as he loved it then. The service was alright, they did have some computer/internet issues but it did not really affect us as we did not have an online order. The atmosphere was nice. The food however, was absolutely terrible. We all ate less than half of our food. They both had sweet and sour chicken, rice and hot and sour soup while I had the seasme chicken, rice and an egg roll. Thee chicken did not seem cooked enough (for both sweet and sour meals), the rice was not fully cooked had hard rice spots, the sweet and sour sauce did not taste good, the hot and sour soups was very thick, almost like a gravy/pot roast thickness, the sesame chicken was very dry and tough, my fried rice was very salty tasting, the egg roll was too hard to eat the shell and was overly stuffed with cabbage and very lacking on any meat. Spent $53.xx on food and a $10 tip. Overall, extremely unsatisfied and will not be back again.Edited to add: we did not even take any of our left overs (half a plate each or more) like we typically do at other establishments.

They delivered food for some business lunches on campus—everything was hot and on time. I was able to order the day before. Thanks!I also have eaten here regular for lunch for years and just really appreciate the hot fresh food cooked to order. Their online ordering system is good and allows additions and subtractions. Their servings are large and easily two meals for me.

Very good. My favorite dishes are, pork with peanuts, twice cooked pork, bacon fried rice, and pork belly boa buns.
This is the best Chinese food ever!!!! I am from Southern IL and no longer live there but every time I come back home I must come eat here. It is so good and fresh! I live in a bigger city now but can’t find anything nearly as good as New Kahala!!!!
