I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious their food is. I bought the teriyaki salmon bowl, Ube Horchata, and curry empanada. OMG! I’m in love! They cooked the rice SO WELL. So on point! Their salmon was so flavorful! Good portion sizes. I’m satisfied!

I have never had a bad anything from SCGE. The Picadillo, Spinach and Feta, and Guava and Cheese are the best ones!!! This is our familys favorite place to treat ourselves to. Everything ordered has been incredible. They have never missed an order or badly prepared anything. It is always perfect, delicious, fast, and the women who run it are amazing and sweet. A top 10 restaurant in the DuPage area- from a resident of 30 years!

This place is insanely amazing. All of the empanadas and sauces are to die for. The churros are incredible too. They do temporary ones as well so they are clearly having fun and are passionate about their product. Give this a try - you will be very happy you did.

I stopped by Saturday evening maybe an hr before close. Unfortunately, I kept being quoted different times for the food to be ready. What was said to be 10-15 mins turned into over 30 mins. I was getting upset and was ready to cancel my order but luckily as soon as I was about to the food was ready. Staff was very apologetic and I can tell they were working their butts off. They took care of me and I was happy with everything at the end. Thank you!

I ordered through doordash, and my food arrived warm and DELICIOUS!! I’ve never had an empanada before and I’m a picky eater, therefore this is picky eater approved!! There was so much flavor. I highly recommend the chicken pot pie, Argentinian beef, and normal churro. I will be trying more of the menu soon, as I was intrigued by the mac and cheese and wish I ordered the apple pie dessert empanada. I also love the option to add a sticker, as I am a sticker LOVER. I received my food very fast as well. Will be recommending this to everyone I know and their mamas. #NewComfortFood

Was working in the neighborhood and wanted something different. This place is hidden in a plaza where you would never think a restaurant would be located at. But I found it and I'm glad I found it. I can't tell you what I ordered but I think I ordered two empanadas one chicken and one beef. They were out of this world, the crust is a flaky buttery crust that's just out of this world. I also ordered a rice bowl. I don't remember what I ordered but it was delicious. The only reason I didn't leave a 5 star review was the cost to quantity ratio. The quantity was on the smaller side and I understand the cost of living is high and inflation is passed on to the customer. There is no sitting inside. This is strictly a carry out restaurant. Food is delicious. It was a nice treat for something different and delicious.

Really enjoy the wide variety of food here! The empanadas are so delicious!! Their frozen empanada options are also great to have on hand when hosting a crowd. Pop them in the oven and have delicious appetizers!

Purchased the Argentina, picadillo, and chicken empanadas. While all were great, my favorite is the Argentina. It reminded me of a good veggie soup without the broth. Second was the picadillo. Definitely would come again when in the area.

Savory Crust is a take-out only place (hence the one star for "atmosphere") but the food is amazing. I got the bulgogi bowl and lime-cilantro bowl with tofu, plus an Argentinian beef empanada and a chicken curry empanada. Some empanadas can be too dough-y or too dry, but these were perfect. The crust was (in fact) savory, and the fillings ample and delicious. I pulled up and within 10 minute my whole order was ready and brought to my car. I love this place! Highly recommend as a great catering option for corporate lunches or other events where you want lots of options for everyone and something out-of-the-ordinary!
