My wife has an anaphylactic allergy to corn and asked the chef if there was corn in a few items and the chef said (8:21am on March 20th) “everything has juices and I’m not going to look into it. She can have a veggie omelette with fruit.”If you have any sort of allergy avoid this place like the plague. Obviously the chef does not care about the people eating here so he can be employed (if he worked at my business he would be fired). Drove out of our way so my wife could eat breakfast (not very many places are from scratch) and not have to worry.Very disappointed. The lady taking the order was very nice and competent (she even apologized for the chef). Sadly the chef doesn’t seem to be very competent… wasn’t even busy (maybe everyone knows he is cooking this morning?)The food itself was very good. Biscuits and gravy were delicious.

This was my 1st time at the farmhouse restaurant & I loved it. This place isn't like a Cafe or regular restaurant. You walk to the cashier & give them your order. Then they give you a number & bring the food to the table when done. There is free water but if you want something else you place an order at the coffee stand area. Then wait for your drink.There is a mezzanine & it's a more private setting. They have live music which I definitely will be checking out. I saw a drink menu so there's that while listening to the live band.My personal experience was great. Jo the cashier was amazing & such a sweetheart. I told her I was a Virgin to the restaurant & she was so much help. She told me the most popular orders & was such a pleasure.

Located on South Neil Street in Champaign, this restaurant is located inside the Harvest Market. There are a variety of counters/coolers to order types of food: deli sandwiches, sushi, burgers, lasagna, salad bar, flatbreads, soups, wings, fried chicken, etc. they have seating upstairs and downstairs. There is an elevator to get upstairs. A bar is located upstairs to order beer on tap and cocktails.

This place is so great for a quick lunch. Great soups, huge salad bar (pay by weight), coffee shop and more. I knly marked 3 stars for service only because it is countet service only. Service is good! We eat here alot. Plus it is inside the Harvest Market Grocery store which is the best place in Champaign for specialty foods.

The customer lines, service, and payment are not efficient nor intuitive especially when they are busy. If you are seeking quick service when they are busy, you may be out of luck. The plentiful options cause indecisive customers to increase service times. For the most part though, the place was clean and seating options are available even when busy.

Great food at a a good price. My colleague and I ate breakfast at the Farmhouse Restaurant because we were in search of an alternative to the breakfast options at the hotel at which we were staying. She’s vegetarian and was able to select from a variety of options on the breakfast menu. Both of our meals were made with fresh ingredients and was tasty. The service was good although a little slow. For having a menu that doesn't focus exclusively on burgers, Farmhouse Restaurant has quite possibly the best burgers in Champaign-Urbana. Not only are the burgers bigger, tastier, and individually unique but the value is unbeatable as you get a free side of your choosing (sweet potato fries FTW).Whoever wins "The People's Choice" award for best burger needs an asterisk next to their name because Farmhouse Restaurant isn't listed as an option to vote. If "The News-Gazette" had actually included them in the competition, then we'd be dunking like Vince Carter and proclaiming, "It's over."They are located inside Harvest Market and you can schedule pick-up on their website.

Love the farmhouse - when it's open! The hourly associates seem to have the ability to close it down whenever they want. I get it they don't work on tips. Went there at 1:30 pm and they were closed - early - again!
