The brunch at Le Peep is hands down our favorite. When I'm here it's not the atmosphere or price range I live - it's the quality of food. My UIUC students and I make it a priority every time I visit to go to Le Peep.

Every time I eat at Le Peep it is excellent. For breakfast/brunch I always order the sailor Sam, but have my eggs poached hard(perfect every time). For lunch I order the penne pasta with chicken and veggies. It is always delicious. Staff is always friendly and attentive.

Loved my breakfast. I had the veggie omelet. The eggs were cooked just right. I liked that they were made with egg whites. Service was pleasant and fast. Very clean.

Owner is either crooked or plain lazy.There is an extra charge he sneaks on to your receipt. When we asked our server about it, she seemed embarrassed and said a lot of her customers get upset about this and virtually no on sees the minuscule signs that the owner places in the restaurant to warn people about this “food adjustment” . Why not just slip this paper in the menu or instruct the servers to mention this extra charge before food is ordered? Sneaky are we? Easiest of all it to make new menus that reflect the actual price. The food was good but this behavior left a bad taste in my mouth.
