I have been to this restaurant twice. First, I got the tomato egg dry noodle, which was very sweet but had a nice savory complement. The second time I went I had the spicy beef soup. It was so spicy I couldn't eat much of it, but I have low spice tolerance. I personally don't like their noodles, I think they're a little soggy and I prefer chewier noodles, but overall good restaurant and nice atmosphere for a quick meal with friends.
I love noodles, and this is one of my favorite places here on campus. All of the dishes I've tried here are great. A lot of them are just a little bit spicy.

Great food, very fresh, friendly service. Clean, comfy atmosphere for very small groups. Loved the roasted pork over rice, squid skewers, and dumplings. Personally, I didn't like the cold gizzards. I prefer them breaded and warm.Food was super fast!!$47 for 2 with appetizers, drinks, tip.
I’m really fond of this restaurant. We ordered the Szechuan Style Beef noodles with the scallion pancake appetizer and it was delicious and filling. The customer service and the atmosphere was also great. We’re looking forward to eating at this restaurant more in the future.

As a person from northwest China, I like to compare every noodle restaurant with Yi Mian Yuan, because Yi Mian Yuan’s noodles are at a level I can accept. It's a pity that the noodles in Mayue Lane are even far behind those of Yi Mian Yuan.The noodles produced by this restaurant are very stable, but unfortunately they are very stable and have no texture. I don’t know if the noodles are too soft or the noodles are cooked for too long, or if the noodles in the south are just like this. Every time I come to Mayue Lane, the quality of its noodles is excellent and stable. I don't mean to be demanding based on the local quality of Shanxi and Shaanxi, but the gap between peers can be easily felt. Let’s talk about Yi Mian Yuan. Every time you go to order mixed noodle soup, you will feel that the chef makes it differently every time. There are times when it is very stretchy, lumpy and oily, but most of the time you can enjoy the authentic handmade noodles. It feels real.But Mayue Lane also has good points. Although the quality of the noodles is not good, the soup, side dishes, etc. are better than Yi Mian Yuan.I am writing so much just because I feel that after eating so many noodle restaurants, only Yi Mian Yuan is better.
