The food is always excellent and the portions are very generous. I've eaten here quite a few times, and all the people that work there are always courteous and helpful.

Food and service were great as always! The only problem was there were a few overserved loud men at the bar using very colorful language that some, especially those with young children, might find offensive - obnoxious to say the least.

Ordered Gyro, first time ever seeing it in a wrap... honestly, it's better on pita, and not enough sauce for all the meat, which was very flavorful. All in all food was good.

Stellar! Had the burrito was amazing. Brought my family there with 2 little girls, they accommodated us perfectly. The staff was friendly and food came out so quick didn't even have time to enjoy the chips and salsa. Loved it, will be visiting again.

So disappointed in the service this evening. Steak that was ordered medium rare no mushrooms arrived at the table with mushrooms (no biggie-figured I'd just scrape them to the side) then cut into the steak and it was over cooked. Sent it back for one cooked the right way and the steak it was replaced with was loaded with a lot more grizzle, yet, cooked to my liking. About halfway through my meal, the waitress just disappeared. No refills on drinks and no check in from anyone else or even the manager. Sat at the table for almost 25 minutes waiting for someone to come to my table or one nearby. I was tempted to just walk out, but since I'm honest, went up to the bar to get someone. Low and behold, not a single worker was at the bar! I stood there for almost 5 minutes before someone came out from the kitchen. I got the bill and made mention that I was not happy about being made to wait so long for the bill. I was told that the waitress left due to an emergency and that her sister was supposed to take over the table, but obviously didn't. The manager NEVER came out to the table. Will not return and don't recommend. This is the second time I've received subpar food and service, there won't be a third!
It's one of my favorite spots in the USA. Given that I travel the country over half the year might be worth somthing. The portions are very generous, and most is scratch made. It is some of the best food in the Midwest, in my opinion. A true local gem with great staff!

2-22-24Excellent!We found this place on Google maps as we were driving south on I-55 down to Peoria and we are so glad we stopped in for lunch.Definitely worth the short drive off of 55.Food, service, atmosphere and prices... All excellent!We will definitely stop again when back through this area!

Really good restaurant. Their tacos are some of the best I've ever had with generous portions. I've had the chimichanga which was ginornous and delicious. Wings were good sized with limited but good sauce selection. It's high end diner/bar food but pretty good. Good size bar now that they bought the strip next to them. Only wish they had some more drafts on tap as their selection is a little limited. Prices are pretty decent and happy hour has great specials (3-5pm Mon-Thursday)Chips and salsa come free with food orders so that's nice.
