Apparently all good things must come to an end. Such is the case here. This WAS the best Chinese takeout in the area. Now it's just a shadow of its former self. The only thing consistent about the quality control here is its INconsitency!I usually order the beef and broccoli. Normally it's very satisfying. Today, it was heavy on broccoli and very sparse on beef! The egg drop soup tasted bland until I salted it myself. Normally I wouldn't have to do this. Today however, someone didn't salt or add MSG to the soup. Again, more INconsistency. While I was there another customer came back in after she just picked up her order. She complained to the attendant that her meal was lacking in ingredients (I'm not sure of specifics). Suffice it to say, they remade the whole meal for her. Those of you who are regulars know that this place hasn't been the same since the lady who worked the front at the register retired about a year back. She was great and apparently was the driving force for quality here.Since she left, this place is hit or miss. Must depend on if they're breaking in a new cook or the day of the week. Perhaps a full moon? Whatever it is, it's not good! One time I found 'dingle balls' (google it) in my food and brought it back. These were tassel-like fringe on the front of the cashiers' blouse that became loosened and fell into food during preparation. Do you think any kind of compensation was offered...uh...NO?!And while the quality of food has dropped off drastically, it's still better than those TV dinner Chinese takeout places like the ones in Steger and Beecher...but only slightly!

This place is terrible. The food looks old, smells old and tastes old. How do you mess up Fried Rice and Egg Rolls?

If I could give this place no stars I would but google don’t let me do that. I placed an order half an hour before they closed, and arrived 10 minutes before they closed, they were not there, the door was locked, and were not answering the phone. sucks to be them they lost 50 dollars and my service forever.
