My food was delicious. I ordered the Caribbean wings and elote as a starter, and the sweet and spicy beef short ribs as a main. I also ordered the Parish Punch. And since I'm not a drinker it was strong ??, however it wasn't bad. I would've loved to taste more of the pomegranate than anything. Otherwise it was a good experience. Now I have to taste their lunch menu ?.

Came to brunch with a close friend! It was my first time highly recommended and I must say I can't wait to come back!!! Everything was amazing! Only thing was the jerk sauce was too salty but besides that this place was a vibe!!

Excellent, excellent, excellent! This was my second time here and the service, drinks, and food was excellent! Restaurant vibe is relaxed with a nice noise level and great music playing in the background. Carlos was a cool and pleasant waiter; great food and drink suggestions with on point service. I ordered the rasta pasta and the parish rum punch; pasta had the right amount of spicy kick and the rum punch...had some punch! Excellent place! There is a 90 minute table time limit, but honestly, you don't feel rushed or pressured. I will be back to try some more of their entree that looked amazing at other tables.

Wow! Our first visit was amazing. Disappointed that we don't live in Hyde Park where we could repeat this experience frequently. Lively, comfortable room with thoughtful service any fine dining establishment would be proud to have (thanks, Sierra). Fun cocktails that did not skimp on the booze. Generous servings of mouth-watering food with just the right amount of heat. Every dish we sampled was unique and 5-star: meaty honey jerk wings, fork-tender sweet and spicy short rib with an awesome side of cabbage and corn muffins like my Gramma used to make, coconut curry shrimp with peppers and rice, and carmelized sweet fried plantains. We'll be back to sample some of the menu's other dishes, that's for sure!

You should be able to enjoy your food and talk to your dining companion without having to shout. However that is not the case. You have to shout because the music is too loud. I know this is the trend among restaurants today. I'm not their market. I cannot appreciate it. Now regarding the food: coconut shrimp was the caliber of store bought frozen, carribean wings were EXCEPTIONAL , therefore it is surprising the 1/2 jerk chicken was dry. The jerk sauce is very reminiscent of walkers jerk marinade available in grocery stores. I do not believe it should be served as a dipping sauce, but cooked on. My sister LOVED her oxtails and cabbage and cornbread. We both appreciated the jalapeno Mac n cheese very much. It was very cheesey and the jalapeno flavor is a great accent without the Mac n cheese being spicy. I am saddened that they did not have hard dough bread to go with the jerk chicken meal. The peas and rice were seasoned very well...very delicious. I found my cabbage bland. In terms of drinks, it unfortunate the wine selection is limited and that I was told vodka could not be substituted in any of the features drinks because a good bartender would know how to make it work. Finally the carmel rum cake is an experience out of this world. I highly recommend trying it. It is too much for one person. Actually this is my final comment...our server was a sweetheart. She was patient, very good at explaining ingredients of the different dishes and she was highly attentive. It was my pleasure to tip her generously. I recommend this place for folk who like an energetic, club feel environment with decent tasting food and great server service.

Our server was very slow. You have 90 minutes to a table and we didn't get our first unlimited mimosas until 30 minutes after sitting with water only . The host was amazing friendly and tried to help out as best she could so i appreciated that . The irritating part was our server told us our 90 minutes was up and i explained we didn't get served until 1:15 our reservation was at 12:30 we sat down at 12:33. The food was amazing as always

Service was extremely slow being that it was only two older women serving who looked a bit overworked and overwhelmed (they were very sweet as well as the hostess). It took 16mins to be greeted but the host checked in to assure us that the server was coming and hadn't forgotten us. By time we received our food, it was room temperature but due to the hour wait for the food to come out we just accepted it to avoid waiting again. One of the guest in my party ordered a meal to go but the server forgot to put it in and due to not wanting to wait any longer we just asked for the check and left as soon as we could. The food and drinks were delicious even with the food not being hot. This is a really nice establishment and the employees were in good spirits and with that alone I would still come back to experience dinner. Hopefully the experience will be different!

Worst experience ever! Reservations cancelled one hour before. The staff left a voicemail. No one offered anything for the inconvenience. Not even a genuine apology. It was a birthday party and the guests first time visiting the restaurant. Simply awful!

4/20/2024: I was looking forward to going to this restaurant for my sister's birthday. Unfortunately, I received a call around 3:12 pm, and our reservation was set at 3:45 pm. The call was to notify us that the restaurant had been closed due to they were having a flood. The manager stated that she would call back after 5 if the flood was resolved but no call back at all.

walked out before we even got our cocktails (after 45 minutes). took 20 minutes for us to get water but our server kept walking by saying she would be right with us. our server was literally sitting in the waiting area for about 10 minutes before we left like she didn't have anything to do. very crazy lmao so happy we left.

10 out of 10 across the board!! I loved it here and I'm still thinking about the food! The service was great and so were the drinks. We even got 2 free drinks because the bartender made extra. I ordered the Rasta Pasta with salmon and shrimp and the flavor and spice level was perfect. Super flavorful. I forget the name of the dessert puffs, which were decent, but the Caramel Rum cake was so much better. Super moist and not too sweet. The space is small so I would suggest a reservation, but they also have a full bar with seating for walk-ins. The owner was even walking around and checking on everyone, which is always a green flag at a restaurant for me.

Came here for Sunday brunch and loved the vibes! Bright interior with fun decorations. The brunch menu is pretty small but each item is packed with flavors. I had the jerk catfish with eggs. The jerk seasoning packs a punch and one of my pieces of fish was soooo tender and amazing. The second piece was thinner and more tough/hard to get through. It was served with runny eggs, a potato hashbrown (not very good, tasted like dirty oil), and hearty toast with butter and jelly. My husband had the crab cake eggs Benedict which was served on corn muffins. He enjoyed this and liked how unique it was! And my grandma thoroughly enjoyed the jerk chicken Cesar wrap and noted the jerk flavor had a nice kick. I snuck a few of her French fries which were super crispy and come out piping hot!

The food was decent. I had the wings. Well cooked and well seasoned. I had the Hyde Parker cocktail. It was strong! On par with the better tiki bars in the city. It's their most popular drink and I understand why. Wasn't keen on the atmosphere. We had to wait for a spot at the bar. It's also rather small and really loud. Great for people watching though.

Had the pleasure of attending this highly recommended spot in Hyde Park. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great!! This seems to be a hidden gem in Hyde Park. Only thing I would say that maybe a minus is the size its like dining in a backroom but the table turnover was decent and the kitchen was very productive in getting food out. A must dine joint!
