I usually don’t write reviews but I was very disappointed. This is a nice little coffee shop. However, I order a café de olla that could probably give someone diabetes and a breakfast sandwich that was cold and bland. Also, the young lady was not friendly or welcoming.

The ladies there always get my order right. As a lactose intolerant vegan, that's an important thing for me. However, there's a young man who works some mornings, with terrible taste in music, who has no respect for alternative milk orders. I've gotten sick a couple of times now after he's made my order. Today, I could taste the cow milk in my mazapan latte. With the significant upcharge for alt milk, it's kind of crazy that a barista would be so careless. I otherwise like having a local coffee spot to support.

I've been going to this place for YEARS and I love how it's developed into the place it was at it's core. Coffee and food is great and reasonably priced. My all time favorite is the Mazapan Latte!

Ordered a cappuccino and an almond croissant (because it was in the display). Was told there weren’t anymore so I ordered the chocolate one. Oh well. Cappuccino was tepid, not even warm. Croissant had chocolate syrup all over it (not as displayed) a bit cold. No fork, stirrers, or napkins given. I tried to eat it with my hands and it got sloppy with chocolate syrup. Asked if I can wash my hands. No bathroom. Coffee is a diuretic. So sad to experience this as I try to support Latino businesses. BTW: it’s March, why the Xmas decorations?

-No bathroom which is ridiculous for a coffee shop regardless of city health codes or not because eventually you are going to have to go if you are sipping on something especially coffee. Might as well make it a drive-thru only.-One worker on a Saturday morning to take care of tons of waiting customers. It took 15min to get a small cup only. Poor girl did as much as she could.-Cafe de Olla tasted like a bag of sugar.

So this was a place my kid found & wanted to try out to support local small businesses & in this neighborhood as we moved around here 2 years ago. The first day we came was on a weekday, we got some coffee & a sandwich which were good, the two guys working had good customer service & we were excited to come back & try more things. We came back on a Sunday, Jan 28, with some family around 11:20am, we placed an order for dine in through Uber eats & let the worker know, she told us it would be a 20 minute wait. Come 11:46, still nothing but we noticed it was busy & there was only 2 staff members working so we chose to be patient. Around 11:50, Uber said order was complete & to enjoy but we had nothing still, figured it would be coming in the next 5 minutes. 12:30pm, we reached our point & my mom asked the cashier where our food was & she told her that the order just "disappeared". She asked if we cancelled it, which we clearly did not, & the worker asked the cook & he seemed like he could care less & just said replied with "the order disappeared". My mom asked how long ago did this happen but they somehow did not know but yet they knew we were waiting for over an hour & didn't bother to ask us or inform us about this "disappeared" order. We let Uber know, got our refund & left with nothing. This was super disappointing as this place is cute & the coffee was good but the customer service could be so much better.

I wish I could give five stars! The coffee is excellent! Café de olla, mazapán latte, cha cha latte - chef's kiss. Customer service is usually pretty great, on occasion the you get cashiers seem a little stand offish. The reason I can't give five stars is the quality of the breakfast sandwiches-brioche bun isn't good, stale croissants, always out of bagels. It seems like their Pilsen location is better stocked. Negative notes aside, I love this place and am a loyal customer for the drinks and the delicious cupcakes (please try them!).

My friend from Texas was visiting and we met here for a cup of coffee. As we were leaving at closing time, she wanted to use the restroom. The young kid said that there’s no public restroom!! How can you have a Coffe shop with no restroom? I was so embarrassed. She went to McDonald’s to use the restroom!

Service so bad, I didn't sip the coffee.Today we detoured on our trip home from Chicago to add another local coffee shop to our list of cross country experiences. Unfortunately it was a stop I wish we had better selected because we ended up walking to Dunkin over supporting this business. The barista was so rude that even my coffee enthusiast sister walked out. The atmosphere seemed like one to enjoy if there was even a miniscule amount of value for the visitor and patrons.
