Bummed that the city location closed down. Drove to the new spot at the Glen. Got take out dessert. So worth the 20 minute drive. Their food was delicious at the city location, but haven't tried it here yet. Will update after we trek out for dinner.

Alice & Friends has been a staple for me and my husband for years now. I'm vegan, and he isn't, but we both LOVE it. I was so pleased to learn they were opening a second location, since we both work in Northbrook, but was so sad to learn they were temporarily closing their location closer to our home. I could eat the miso ramen every day of my life. Would recommend 1,000 times.

We've been to the Broadway location several times the past couple of years when visiting our daughter at Loyola U. Everything is delicious! Yesterday, we happened to see a movie at the Landmark Theater in Glenview and stopped in at the newly opened second location a short walk north. It's much more open and spacious with more seating. A whimsical cups-and-saucer decor is notable on and above the counter area. We enjoyed their Corn Chowder with a side of corn bread; Walnut shrimp with broccoli and brown rice, 'Spam' musubi, and mac n' cheese. For dessert we shared the rich and creamy chocolate mousse pie. It's great to have another location in the burbs. Looking forward to seeing the new reno' at the Broadway restaurant in a few months, too. Congrats!

First, would like to mention we ate at the new Glenview location. We attended the soft opening Wednesday night. The restaurant is located at the north end of the Glenview Town Mall, and has lots of seats for in house dining. The food is probably the same as at the chicago location, and is excellent. It is pan Asian style food and very fresh and flavorful. Vegans, vegetarians And regular diners will all find something delicious to eat. We will be back!

Awesome place! The guy that looks like Spider-Man, the manager helped choose a meal that was perfect for my family. Definitely will be back soon! Rainbow rolls are my favorite meal to pick from.
The first time I went here I thought it was okay - but then I went back. And I haven't stopped coming back. Their baked goods are incredibly underrated and exceptional. The Strawberry Shortcake special was maybe the best dessert I've ever had and I could not believe it was vegan. The Run Away Potato stew is consistently the most warming, cozy dish. These guys know what's up.

alice & friends' has become a staple since embracing a plant based lifestyle. fully vegan they have gluten free and raw options. food allergens are well labeled on the menu. their dessert case allows me to indulge in a sweet treat without feeling like i'm sacrificing anything. their desserts are as good, if not better, than the standard recipe. their tiramisu is a must!! my other favorites are the raw key lime cheesecake and black forest cake. but you can't go wrong with any selection! other favorites are the carrot cake, peanut butter fudge bar, and apple cake. in terms of food, the mush love appetizer is tasty and i enjoyed the honey walnut shrimp with quinoa.
