This is a cute spot with excellent service. I stopped here to pick up lunch on a Friday afternoon. There was 1 other table there. I ordered 2 pupusas: chicken and cheese and a chicharrón and cheese one with a jamaica juice. While I waited, the server brought me a complimentary cup of coffee. I don't know what kind it was but it was delicious and such a nice treat while I waited, totally unexpected. The pupusas were solid, stuffed nicely and came with 2 sauces plus the usual cabbage mix. Good prices, good food and fantastic service. I'll definitely be back!

Great little place, great food and service definitely recommend the food. Try the tamales and buy some extra to take home family love than.
Amatitlan is an amazing restaurant! The food, flavor and hospitality is great. Everything is made fresh to order. I've come with my family and alone and it's always consistent. My sister says the churrasquito Chapin is delicious! My go to are the pupusas which have so much flavor. There's plenty of street parking.

This place used to be AWESOME. I think the success got to their head and they used COVID to way over price their items.A typical Guatemalan dish, revolcado (all the extra from the cow in a stew), went from $13.99 to $22.99 overnight.I understand having to increase prices, but almost a 100% increase and smaller portions!I'd rather wait and eat when in Guatemala. Too bad.
