Visiting from out of town. Stopped by here because we heard the cinnamon rolls were great here. They don’t disappoint. Super super yummy!

Food was good but I felt forced to be in and out within 30 minutes, it was pretty empty and people who got there before me were still there and I hadn’t finished my food yet, I am autistic and mostly just confused, it felt like I wasn’t allowed to be there but I don’t think I was doing anything wrong, very sad. Had my headphones on and was minding my own business. Enjoyed the food, fruit was good. This was my first time not doordashing from here because I thought a rainy day in the morning mid-week wouldn’t be stressful but idk it cost more than DoorDash and wasn’t enjoyable to be there like I had hoped . If you are a fast eater you will probably be fine

Visiting our son with the rest of the family. Decided to try this place out. What a great idea. No complaints on anything. The food was deliciously amazing. Potato pancakes are just like my dad used to make. Cinnamon rolls delicious! Everyone ordered something different & Everyone had clean plates! Definitely recommend !

Food was fine. Our waiter, however, was not. He kept rushing everything about our meal. As we were eating and mid-conversation, he left the bill on the table - we weren’t even half done eating! Didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted to bill it separately or together. It all felt pretty rude and it was evident he was clearly done with our table - frankly we could have done takeout literally anywhere else and the experience would’ve been far better. One of the most unpleasant barely-an-hour long meals I’ve had in a while.

We could not stop talking about our service even after we left. Our server was Pauly and he was the best server I think we have ever had. Our drinks were always filled, everything came out super quick and he anticipated everything we needed before we even thought of it ! I would give him a 20/10! Best service I think i’ve ever had a restaurant while still giving us space to be comfortable. The food was amazing as well our cinnamon roll were literally the best thing i’ve ever eaten, so good. Will 100% be back soon!! We got there around 10 am on a saturday and there was not a wait.

Classic diner known in Chicago for its cinnamon rolls. Basically any breakfast choosing comes with 2 sides of your choice "--so you have the option for your savory breakfast & then a sweet treat for dessert after. Felt like for the average price of $18 you're getting a lot of food and most likely will be taking leftovers for later. Food was fresh, fast, & portions were good. The cinnamon roll was gooey, warm, and delicious. Would definitely check out this place for brunch if you're around a location. We came there on a Saturday morning and there was no line but I heard it could be busy so maybe come early.

The cinnamon rolls are genuinely good, so only order that and maybe a coffee. Do not get anything else.

Best breakfast in Chicago! Be ready to eat or split as the portions are generous. Excellent

Anne Sather is a classic chicago breakfast spot. The food is always solid and they always give you enough to make sure you are walking out of there stuffed. I love that their juices are fresh squeezed. Also, let's not forget the massive cinnamon rolls that they have. You need to try it. I always feel comfy when here like an extension to my home.

Full disclosure I'm catching up on reviews from a trip a few months ago and I am amazed that I just noticed I forgot to review this wonderful place. Although I don't see it on the menu and I think it was a special, but I went there. I was able to get eggs with a combination of the Swedish sausage and the Swedish meatballs, and also a couple of the pancakes. Everything was great, including their legendary cinnamon roll, which another member of my party got. Service was excellent quality was top rate was definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Chicago.

Good comfort food and decent service. A bit chaotic at times but to be expected. Tables are close together.

4/5 food: cinnamon rolls are to die for. light, fluffy, perfectly soft. huge portions of food. we ordered the Swedish sampler and Avocado breakfast wrap. both meals came with two sides and we both left with enough leftovers for another meal. the main meals were pretty average, but would definitely come again just for the cinnamon rolls and a cup of joe. 4/5 service: very quick and efficient. we went around 2PM, so likely better service due to slower business. 4/5 ambiance: typical breakfast restaurant. felt homey and warm - like i could sit there all day with a pot of coffee if they let me.

Great breakfast spot with a variety of options to choose from. I love how everything pretty much comes with two different sides, one of which could be two amazing cinnamon rolls or biscuits. I usually get the breakfast burrito. You can customize the ingredients in it the same way you would in an omelet which I really like. The breakfast potatoes are seasoned nicely and they have a very good homemade green salsa that comes with the breakfast burrito. I have also been to the Belmont location and their doesn't seem to be any sort of disparity in quality between the locations. It's priced decently for a brunch spot and in terms of quality its definitely one of the better choices if your in or around Lakeview.
