We had a the most delicious meal and wine. There were so many choices for our tasting menu. We both got different items and shared them all. We loved the fresh beet and pear arugula salads, the lasagna and gnocchi, as well as the filet and braised short ribs. Perfect ending with the chocolate torte and the zeppole. Thank you to Ryan and Arturo for the outstanding service.

Great food and ambiance!! The back patio is the place to be here. It has an “Italian bistro meets upscale hipster” sorta feel. It’s dark and intimate for a date night, though it’d also work well for a friends get together or a wine night. We’ll be back for the Quattro!

Sat down for our 6:30 reservation and placed our entire order probably around 7PM. Sat for 2 hours with no food, no updates, no one checking in on us, then we eventually decided to leave. We saw tables come in, sit, get their food and pay all within that time. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and certainly don’t think this falls on the servers, they were busting their butts and we’re swamped. It was clearly overbooked. I could barley lift my elbow without touching the table next to us which was not enjoyable, I could clearly hear the conversations of the people sitting next to us who were speaking at a normal level. (for example, the girl next to me did not like her boyfriend’s friends’ girlfriends. fair, girl! they sound annoying!)Really disappointed we didn’t get to try the food, had been looking forward to it. I’m sure the food and service is great when they are at normal capacity. It was a huge mistake to try and cash in on valentine’s day reservations as it just set the foh and kitchen staff up for failure.

Had a large event - 45 people. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. It was a tricky party- had people coming in and out. Staff did not complain at all and worked the room flawlessly. We will definitely be back!!Dietary restrictions: We had one guest with very specific dietary needs, and they prepared a perfect meal for her, which she loved!

This is one of the best places to eat in Chicago! Everyone we've brought has loved it. The food is amazing, it's an undiscovered gem that I look forward to going every time. Get the 4 courses, we'll worth the money. The ribeye is huge and delicious, I take 2/3 home each time and have an excellent dinner the next night as well. I always get the scallops, they are cooked too perfection

This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Cozy hole in the wall with mood lighting and beautiful art work. White table cloths so I personally suggest dressing nicely, but saw plenty of people in casual attire coming in for take-out. Food was incredible. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Seems like employees are really taken care of and happy which goes a long way. We had seared scallops which were delicious and I had the duck risotto. The panna cotta was to die for.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and dairy-free options available

Husband and I know the Owner and decided to have a week night date this past summer. Although it doesn’t look very busy from the outside, let me tell you, it’s poppin’ in the back patio area. It’s a covered patio with fans and live plants growing throughout the space. Can’t even tell you’re wedged between two buildings in the neighborhood! Food was excellent and service was delightful. Love the Italian authenticity as well, reminded us of our honeymoon in Italy!

Fine Italian dining with the low-key unpretentious atmosphere of a neighborhood standby. We had the four course combination which is ALOT of food. Prices are high but ok for a special occasion. Servers were friendly. Dress code casual.

The definition of a hidden gem! This place is fantastic! The staff is polite and the food is excellent. Antico exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return. The scallops were a 10/10 and the ribeye was also a 10/10. Just amazing.

Yummy dishes that are thoughtfully plated. Many items are grown in their in house garden.
