Awesome vegetarian options at a French restaurant—feels super rare! Went for happy hour + dinner as a birthday surprise for my boyfriend (who’s newly vegetarian). Every dish was tasty and felt original. My favorite was the mushroom “escargot” (much more memorable than regular escargot) and my partner’s favorite was the carrot tartare. The chamomile bourbon soda was also tasty—their happy hour specials were a great value. Already wanna plan my next visit to try more!!

Beautiful space, wonderful service, and delicious food!We saw this place on an Instagram reel and decided to treat ourselves to a nice brunch date. We were not disappointed. The menu had a nice variety and it was hard to just choose a few things! Everything we ordered blew us away. We liked the food so much, we plan on trying the dinner offerings next month.Location-wise, Argot is very accessible and the space is superb, coming off as elegant but not stuffy, like some similar places in the area can.Highly recommended for any foodie or someone looking for a special spot without blowing the bank.

We've been to Argot a couple of times now and our last time, we were celebrating a friend's special occasion. We chose it because the restaurant itself is smaller/more intimate but beautifully decorated without being stuffy, it is also well lit for dinnertime (aka you don't need a flashlight to read the menu). The staff was super nice when I called for a reservation at a certain time I couldn't get online. TLDR: The service was great and the food was also great! Our favorites are the rolls, mussels (which sometimes sell out), the cheeseburger, and the croque madame (if you want something larger/more filling), and the steak frites. My friends tried the fish and duck confit and loved it, but you may want to get a side with those. For dessert, we love the cookies and cream The wine selection is great especially if you like more rare bottles, we went with middle of the road selections and they were fantastic. They also have a happy hour, so we are looking forward to trying that out in the near future!

Brunch here was delicious with a calm relaxed atmosphere. The French toast was delicious and the mocktails and cocktails were both reasonably priced and delicious.

Parking is tough around here but the food was great. The fish was perfectly cooked and the mussels had a unique tasty sauce and were noticeably high quality. It's in a wine store so the drinks are also great. Really good addition to the neighborhood.

Lovely Sunday brunch at Argot with my family and friends. Food was delicious. The staff were welcoming and helped make sure that all in our party, which included some older folks with physical challenges and dietary restrictions, were comfortable. We'll dine there again soon.

The restaurant is beautiful as you walk in. The decor and atmosphere is high scale but not intimidating. The food and drinks were to die for. Great effort was put into the design of all their menus and prepared to perfection. I can’t wait to return and try another of their menus!

Surprisingly good French bistro food and wine and drinks in an unusual location. Probably the best vegetarian "French" onion soup I have found. A solid savory tart that is surprisingly sweet (and also gluten free). Mushrooms done us as "escargot". I am told the mussels and the steak were fantastic with sauces that contain magic. I don't eat meat but based on the other dishes even the Romaine salad I can believe it. Helpful staff. And it's not so loud you can't have a conversation with your date. Not cheap but good.

The food is spectacular!!! Everything was delicious. The service was fine, our server was quite nice. The mains took a while to come out but who cares when they were amazing! Starters: all great - savory tart: creamy, salty/sweet, unique - frisée and lardon salad: delicious dressing, wish there was more egg because it was so good, large chunks of salty (this is a good thing) meat Main - duck confit: wonderful! Breathtaking flavors! I wanted to go back the next day to eat this again! I'd eat this every day (maybe)!!! Also they have well curated, diverse and impressive wine list!

I’ve been here twice now ands absolutely love!!! The food, service and ambience are all ON POINT! Classic French food cooked well. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff…they even welcomed me back on my second visit…nice little attention to detail. They also have a retail wine shop attached!

Fun little spot on Lincoln with traditional French food and very friendly for vegetarians. Mushroom escargot is perfect for your vegie friends or those too timid to try snails. Very extensive wine list and delicious cocktails.
