This is one of my top restaurants in downtown Chicago. The food is unbelievably delicious, and the service is excellent. They use top-notch ingredients and prepare everything perfectly! I just wish they had a bigger restaurant so it wasn't so tough to get a reservation. I'll definitely come back!

This meal was one of the best I've ever had, not just recently, but ever. Every bite of the prix fixe meal was absolutely delicious. The staff were really professional, especially the manager who kindly sorted out a last-minute mix-up on our part. They definitely deserve five stars all around.

Ascione's Special Cioppino is the most flavorful stew I have ever had in my life. It's a rich broth topped with various kinds of seafood like mussels, salmon, shrimp and lobster - and between the fish and the broth, it is just addicting. It came with nice pieces of crostini perfect for dunking in the broth. I ended with a chocolate mousse for dessert, which they serve like a sundae with whipped cream and lots of fresh fruit. The creaminess of the mousse compliments the whipped cream so well. I'm so glad I stopped in as it was a perfect way to end my late afternoon before heading home. I will for sure come back to try more!

I stopped in with my fiance for dinner because we heard so many great things about the restaurant. We tried their Filet Mignon Oscar Style - When the server said it was a special that day, we had to try it, The dish looked and sounded totally irresistible, and we were proven right as soon as it came to the table. The filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare just like we asked for, with large generous handfuls of crab meat laying on top. Resting next to it all was what had to be the biggest grilled asparagus I've ever seen, all finally drizzled on top with a really flavorful Bearnaise Sauce. Our night out at Ascione Bistro was truly fantastic!
