I can’t begin to explain how delicious this place is. Literally just left and am chowing down on the sausage roll. The meat is juicy and extremely flavorful. I cannot wait to eat these pies. Service was great. Highly recommend!

First time ! I wasn't quite sure what to expect, especially the fact that you eat an Aussie pie like a hamburger (go figure). But, these savory hand-sized pies were delicious - got one lamb curry and another Guinness beef. Also got a side of mac and cheese and it was phenomenal - cheesy with a hint of jalapeno. I would definitely come back again to try different varieties.

We stopped by looking for comfort food but simple and not overpriced. We order the Sheppard pie and a peppered steak and mushrooms. Sides tomatoes Basil soup and Mac and cheese. I love hand pies. Something very comforting about them. I loved mine the sauce was peppery and savory. He ate the Sheppards pie he loved it. Me not much but it was just too much with the dough and the potatoes but great flavor. The soup was just perfect and I dreamed about the dough made a bowl and serve the soup in oh man that would be like heaven. His Mac and cheese was good some spice added that made it very tasty. We definitely going back but order less. The pies are a meal with itself.

Very simple but very delicious!!! perfect bite size for 1 person, affordable and exactly how I used to eat it when I was a kid.my only suggestion they should offer different kind of sauces (mild, spicy, sour, etc) besides ketchup just to change it up a bit ??

I’ve tried the Classic Minced, Shepherd’s Pie, Steak & Guiness, Braised Beef Stew and Chicken Tikka Masala. They were all delicious. I knew what Shepherd’s Pie was first so I have ordered that a couple times. It’s great and a classic flavor for me. Eventually, I got curious about the other flavors so I’ll summarize in case anyone’s torn. The Classic Mince was tasty and a more simple/plain, but unique flavor. It’s also a lot cleaner to eat by hand. The Tikka Masala is also good, but doesn’t quite scratch the itch for a tikka masala flavor although that might not be a fair comparison. Not bad at all, I just wouldn’t reach for it unless I was craving something at the intersection of Trader Joe’s frozen Chicken Tikka and homie, buttery pie crusts. The Braised Beef Stew is actually VERY soupy and I remember not being able to eat it by hand. In terms of flavor, I think it’s a step above the Shepherd’s Pie but, again, it would depend on my mood since Shepherd’s Pie is just my type. The real surprise was eating the Steak & Guinness. Maybe it’s because I grew up in Wisconsin, but oh man!!! I have to try and recreate the flavor because it was so developed and rich! I also thought the consistency was Goldilocks level - just right, think between a drier Shepherd’s pie and a brothy Braised Beef Stew. Now I’m embarrassed about how many flavors live rent free in my head.

Nothing wrong with the pies. I just didn't enjoy them that much. They were out of the lamb curry pies so I had to settle for the pepper steak and mushroom. Crust was very good, but filling wasn't all that. Flavor was kind of flat and a little too salty. My wife's chicken Tikka masala pie lacked some spices. Each pie isn't huge, but they are filling. Price isn't that great for a single handheld pie so try and get the lunch special to make the value a little better.

Very nice flaky crust, great flavor and decent size. I regret I only bought two. I had the peppered steak and mushroom pie and the chicken tikka pie. I liked the chicken tikka pie a lot more. Very reasonably priced. Peppered steak was good but I may not buy it again. The chicken tikka I would definitely buy again. Next I will try the other flavors too.

All I've got to say is that Shepherd's pie was delicious! Ordered it online and the crust was perfect and flakey with a rich savory filling. Surprisingly edible with just your hands (very doable). Can't wait to cook my frozen Steak and Guinness pie!

The flaky savory pies are delicious. The service is good and the restaurant has a small dine-in area.

I got the chicken tika masala and unreal Shepard's. I thought I could finish both pies but it's a lot of food. The chicken tika masala was excellent. The unreal Shepherd's pie does taste like the real thing! Had the Aussie sodas guava is tasty!

The pies are great. The shepards pie was loaded. The chicken tiki masala was also filled and saucy. The pastries are always flaky and fluffy. The tomato soup is potent and a little salty but pairs well with the pies. The spinach soup on the other hand is not as salty but tastes like spinach and nothing much else. Is great to drizzle on the pies though.

I tried:1. Steak & Guinness - chopped angus steak, caramelized onions, sliced carrots in homemade sauce. Made with Guinness.2. Curried Lamb - braised & shredded Australian lamb with potatoes, peas, and special blend of curry spices. Cooked in red wineNo complaints about either pies. Super flavorful, meats and pie crust cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced for the portion size. This is amazing Australian comfort food.Staff were nice. It's a small space with a couple of tables. I wouldn't bring a large group here for dine-in.

I was near the Belmont "L" this afternoon and I thought I'd try the Bararngaroos Aussie Pies. I chose their lunch special which consists of an Aussie Pie, a side, and a can of pop for $13.95. I chose their Classic Mince Pie and Mac & Cheese. I thought the Aussie Pie with Ground Mince Angus Beef was very good with interesting flavors, puffed pastry, and flaky pie crust, the filling was very filling with a side you should have plenty to eat. As far as the food goes, I thought the Mac & Cheese was "too thick" for my taste, I wish they would have loosened it up a little. There is what I would describe as a "Cow Bell" on the front door for lack of a better word. It's very annoying listening to it as people enter and exit. Also, I'd describe the music as "Screaming-singing" it's crazy loud. The lady at the counter was very nice and efficient and will guide you along with your order.
