Easily our favorite place in the neighborhood. The owners are kind, fun, attentive, and make you feel like family. It’s the type of place that makes you glad you live in Chicago. They have excellent rotating beers, they’re dog friendly, you can bring/order you own food, they have sports, they have board games. On good days and bad days, you’ll find me at Barrelman.

I did not eat here but the server was so welcoming and friendly, his name is Travis!. Great neighborhood bar. I felt welcome, amazing bartender, knows about tequilas, affordable prices. Peaceful vibes. Can I just say again that our guy Travis was amazing! I will be back!

Barrelman is an oasis. Yes, this place checks all the boxes, but it is however far from the “check the box” culture we look for when reading restaurant reviews online. You really have to step in to get the true vibe. This human and dog-friendly establishment is driven by its passion for community and love for the industry while providing a cozy, welcoming experience every time we go. If you’ve ever wanted a bar “where everybody knows your name”, but cleaner and nicer, then Barrelman should technically be the only bar you ever go to for the rest of your life. Did I mention they’re dog friendly

Some chick named Susan reviewed this place. I walk around this hood all the time and I've never smelled her. And trust me, when she was in the bar, everyone smelled her. This place is amazing. Super friendly and they give out free treat. One of the best head scratches of my life happened here. 10/10...even the female bartender is great.
Usually I have a good time here. but the female bartender have been rude in more than one occasion. I'm disappointed since I live in the neighborhood.
