They server that we had was terrible. I had to ask other servers for service. It's almost like he intentionally avoided our table. My waffles were ice cold that the butter just sat there. I was able to get another servers attention and she brought out hot ones and also took the wake waffles off the bill. I wouldn't go back. On the plus side my daughter really enjoyed her spicy mushroom sandwich.

Tried it for the first time - the starters, flatbread, and main courses were good on the whole and with good flavor profiles. Our baked Alaska was nicely presented but didn't have as much strawberry or rhubarb flavor as we hoped, it was bland. It's probably the most upscale vegan place price-wise. Service was friendly and efficient too - fyi we went on a Thursday, no problem getting a reservation. We will go back, though to try some of the other dishes, may try a different dessert too. Whether you are vegan or not, this a great place for dinner and also a nice place to take guests.

Beautiful ambiance and flavorful, rotating menu items brimming with flavor and so visually stunning. The chefs testing menu provided so much outstanding food - we loved being able to try a little bit of everything and sit right at the kitchen, watching everything be prepared and plated.

Food was subpar, decor was nice, server acted like he had better places to be and completed our experience by tossing the check and pen at us. Wish we had gone elsewhere. All other staff was lovely.

The wait person was lovely yet at the end of the night we would have liked to order dessert some 25 minutes earlier. The food was spotty. It did not deliver with the seasonings. Kale Caesar salad was bland and the Chateaubriand was fabulous. The Carbonara was dry and lack-lustre and the pimento goat cheese and ash truffle cheese on the Cultured cheese board lacked flavor of any sort. The Beet tart hit the mark.

We've been a few times and LOVE everything we order. Yesterday we went on 2 Tuesday and chose the three course prefix which still gives you the option to choose. It's the best value!!!

Amazing food but the service was both too rushed, with people bussing plates as the last bites were still on their way to our mouths, and too slow, waiting for long periods to find and attract the attention of our server. They were friendly, but disorganized. We'd still go back for the food.

Super delicious and worth the money for the 8 course tasting and wine pairings! Went for my partner's birthday and we loved it. Service was awesome with staff being attentive without overbearing, and food was incredible.

We had an exceptionally good dinner and it was made even better by the great service of Valantis, who made delicious recommendations and was enjoyable to talk with. Bloom makes delicious vegan dishes and we will definitely be back.

Not my favorite. Been to almost every vegan and vegetarian restaurant in Chicago at this point and there are some (expensive) misses here. Loved the causa, though. Could see myself coming for drinks and apps

The food is great!!!!!! The service could have been better. Our server lacked patience and personality. He was also inattentive. He seemed to be working the entire restaurant which may have contributed to that.

We had the tasting menu at the kitchen counter and ate so many fun and innovative dishes. It was a great experience all around with the staff and ambiance. We saw lots of other dishes going out so we're very motivated to return and try more.
