Typically enjoy dining here. Service was below want as been encountered in the pass. Also the patio was extremely hot felt like we were baking and no adjustments or acknowledgments were made if the temperature difference. Will return but hope service was just off for this Sunday Brunch.

The exterior of the building was adorable and welcoming! The hostess was not very kind or patient but the rest of our experience was quite enjoyable and had a lovely experience, meal and drinks were fantastic! We appreciated Mac and his recommendations of food and drinks!

One of our favorite lunch spots in the neighborhood! The cornbread is a must to begin, and the hummingbird cake is a must to end. Sitting out in the garden is a beautiful, relaxing experience.

Great food! The tomato soup, bacon mac and cheese, and brussel kale salad were some of our favorite items. It took a little while to get our food but the service was great about checking in with us.

It was a rainy evening and we sat outside in the garden area. The decor was beautiful, it wasn't too loud outside, and just overall a very pleasant area to dine in. Food and service were excellent too!

Our waiter, Max, was wonderful! He was very attentive, helpful, and made my husband's birthday extra special! We used to live in Chicago and were excited to return to a favorite spot!

Super cute atmosphere! It was surprisingly not that busy for an 11am on a Saturday! 3 of the 4 of us ordered the BLTs but I forgot photos! It was good but I specifically asked for no tomatoes and still got them . The BDK garden spritz was light and refreshing! I wasn't overly impressed with their menu and while the food was good, it's not a place I'm dying to come back to.

Our biscuits/gravy was delicious along with Crab cakes and Pineapple Mimosa, pass on the beignets, super bland and greasy, not at all like New Orleans....Love this place inside and outside, you should go! Quaint, sweet ambience. Four Stars

My daughter and I and two of our friends went for the first time to the blue door in Chicago and I've been wanting to go for quite some time. I cannot tell you what a wonderful experience from the minute we walked in the door what a worm, loving feeling the atmosphere was, and the food was more than amazing everything was homemade from the opportunity of when they even gave us free, deviled eggs that were out of this world we had the butternut squash soup, the cauliflower steaks the presentation was beautiful, and the service that we got from Dominique was excellent we could not have asked for a better experience. This restaurant would be a six star, what a lovely, sweet cute atmosphere. We truly loved it and we will go back when we come in from the suburbs. Thank you from the Retzers

Mediocre at best. The food was good but nothing better than the 5 other restaurants on the same block. The atmosphere is uncomfortable and overcrowded. They also have zero options if you are sober. I expected more from a Michelin restaurant. I find the farmhouse aesthetic and mason jar glasses tacky and tired, but that is a personal preference.

Ambiance: 10/10 Service: 12/10 Food: Off the charts! Great place to take the family when they are visiting. I didn't even get pictures of all of my food it was devoured so fast. Our server knew exactly what to recommend and make sure you save room for dessert. Be sure to make a reservation, if you are going for a weekend brunch.

I'll keep this short--Everything was pretty phenomenal. The service is excellent, the food was even better. The beignets were a hit. My only criticism was that they could've used a little bit more of the sauce. My fried chicken and waffles were hot and crispy, and I loved the rosemary syrup. The biggest win, however, was the deviled eggs: Perfect little bites of creamy goodness with crispy jalapeños--I would come back just for the deviled eggs! Here you feel right at home with the cooking and the very homey decor and ambiance. Loved our visit!

Overpriced but pretty good food. Easter bunny was there at least. Kinda dark inside but old school cool.
