Love coming here for a quick coffee in the am! They have really good cold brew and it's just sooo close to my house. I just wish they had more hours!

Local place located in a community center. Not only do they serve great food & coffee, but they have a great mission of serving the community where they're located. Come have your coffee a sit for a while and you'll see kids coming in to play basketball and a variety of other activities, individuals coming in for health care among many other things. Had a great cup of tea and AMAZING banana pudding. Emily was great and all of our orders came out quickly and as expected. Definitely recommend anyone to come in and check this place out.

Bridge Cafe is located inside Breakthrough FamilyPlex which is a local business that offers a huge range of activities in the East Garfield Park community as well as surrounding communities. Bridge Cafe itself is a coffee shop where residents can gather in a peaceful place and have meetings, read or do homework while being able to purchase a select of foods and beverages offered by Bridge Cafe. As for me, I come here mostly to utilize the WiFi, which is free! At the moment Bridge Cafe is the only place that I have noted in East Garfield Park neighborhood that offers free WiFi plus it is more convenient to me as well as for many other college students in the area. I also have the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone by getting a workout in at Breakthrough FamilyPlex fitness center, and then going downstairs to Bridge Cafe to complete homework assignments in a less distractful environment. As for parking you have the option to park within Breakthrough FamilyPlex parking lot or within the neighborhood streets which is never an issue. Enjoy, Thomas G

the best coffee shop in town! (and probably all of Chicago) my sister and I were staying at an AirBnB directly across the street so you really couldn't beat the location but I was beyond impressed with their food and drinks as well. we stopped by the cafe three times in the two days we stayed, the first trip I got the berry bowl and an americano. the americano was recommended by the friendly barista and was by far the best one I've ever had (and I've had a LOT of coffee lol) the berry bowl was super fresh and I'm happy to say didn't have one spoiled or soft fruit in it whereas a lot of other places have decent fruits with a couple older than you'd like, and the size of the bowl was awesome for the price. my sister got a cinnamon bagel w regular cream cheese and finished it so quick I couldn't even ask how it was lol. overall this place was amazing, and it seems like every profit is for a good cause as well which always wins me over. if you're in the area do yourself a favor and stop by, you won't be disappointed.
