BEWARE -- Never place an order on their website! Unprofessional GM.I placed a holiday lunch order directly thru this store's website (as a gift to a group of teachers at my sons school).The group only received half of the order at the scheduled time. Apparently, the driver forgot to take the second bag of food (i.e. the other half the order), so they sent another driver out afterwards with the rest of the food.I called the store to ask if the food was remade, as IT'S SEAFOOD and HAD BEEN SITTING THERE FOR OVER 40 MINUTES between deliveries --- First bag of food arrived at 11:45am and the second bag at 12:26pm.The GM assured me 'it was only sitting there not even 10 minutes' and would arrive hot. IT ARRIVE COLD AND SOGGY!....Cold fish + soggy fries and bread. Seafood is not meant to sit for nearly 45 minutes!This was BEYOND EMBARRASSING as the lunch was a holiday gift / celebration. On top of the unappetizing food, the second delivery didn't even make it in time for the group's 30 minute lunch window.The GM blamed doordash, and of course doordash blamed the store because I placed the order directly thru the store's website. Horrible customer service on both ends, and frankly unprofessional on Brown Bag Seafood...Brown Bag Seafood should have compensated the order given all the issues, and then taken up the driver error with doordash directly. That is the service provider Brown Bag Seafood selected on behalf of their brand (not me).I was the pickle in the middle, got zero help, and received the short end of the stick... not to mention spent my lunch hour on the phone with both BBS and DoorDash trying to figure out what was going on and how to resolve the issue.HERE'S THE KICKER -- The GM told me to call him when I place my next order and 'he'd throw in a couple of cookies on the house for the issue.'Seriously? I will not be ordering from you ever again,. And, I warn others NOT TO ORDER FROM THIS STORE OR THEIR WEBSITE.The store and GM will take zero responsibility for any online order issue. Had I known this, I would have just placed the order directly thru Doordash.

Food was 10/10, they messed up two of the orders but mistakes happen.Amazing fish, both taste and texture. Love the concept, simple and efficient. Fish tacos can be a bit too heavy on the carbs, needs some veg for balance.Ginger lemonade was delicious, the family weren’t big on the sweet tea or black tea options.

I cannot tell if this location is just THAT good or ALL of the other locations are just THAT bad, but clearly they do something the others don't. I go to Brown Bag Riverside daily on my commute after work. The 2 restaurant workers are always extremely nice to me, and more importantly the food never disappoints. They do not overly sauce or season the veggies or fish (huge problem at other locations), they chop their ingredients finely (huge problem at other locations), and they actually cook their food properly (veggies and fish are cooked all the way through, which again, huge problem at other locations)I've never been to a franchise restaurant with this much inconsistency btwn locations, but thankfully after having been to THREE other locations which were a farcry from the quality and customer service I receive at Riverside - I learned my lesson and will only go if it's at Riverside.Did I mention how awesome and friendly their staff is at Riverside?if youve had a bad experience at a Brown Bag location, you're not alone. But don't give up hope until you've given this location a shot. They are legit. Get the daily catch with greens and grains & you will not regret.
