Went out for our anniversary wanted to go somewhere special so decided on a place in little Italy. The waitress was almost bordering on lethargic leaning on the chair to take order very expressionless.we ordered drinks and calamari both were very good. Then I ordered the ravioli which tasted as far away from homemade that you can get. It was so disappointing but we did get an apple pie dessert that was delicious. I will never go back there again. Also the waitress honestly only came back to check on us when we called her maybe she should get some sleep next time before she takes her shiftParking: Well that was the highlight of our evening we lucked out and someone was leaving a block away

Our server was never around, she had the attitude of a bored employee. ,I had to flag her down to get a drink, i literally had to look for her and wave my arm to get her attention. It was not crowded at all because then I'd understand the situation a little better if it was.I tried to order a glass of pinot noir and was told this italian restaurant which features wine was out of pinot.noir by the glass . What the hell does that even mean, you have Bottles to purchase but they can't open a bottle to pour a glass or two. Food was blah, I ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken, chicken definitely came from a package and my wife ordered ravioli which was definitely prepackaged no taste nothing special. Best part of the meal was the caramel apple pie. Unfortunately I don't think I would recommend this restaurant to our friends and family and I will not be returning.

Nothing beats an "old neighborhood" Italian restaurant and Bruna's is the gold standard. Bruna, himself, is there to work the room and make wine recommendations. On our recent visit, he recommended Brunello del Montalchino 2017 that was a perfect fit for our pasta, lamb shops, and sausage. Sublime.
I've been going here for over a decade. The food is always delicious and the service is fantastic! The owner, Luciano, is full of light, laughter, and wonderful stories. In a city with tons of Italian restaurants, this one is the best. It's where italians go for italian food. Feels a bit like eating in Nonna's basement.Kid-friendliness: On our last visit, we brought an infant, a four, a five, and a seven year old. The staff timed bringing out food Immediately for kids and wine for the adults. We were well treated and seated. We enjoyed a perfect meal, feeling the energy of that loving Nonna embracing us.

Always a pleasure eating here. From time to time I make my way over for a great meal. Today was one of those days. I sat at the bar, was served promptly and had an awesome conversation with a longtime customer. The food is superb, the bartender is on point and the atmosphere is old-school Italian. I can't say enough good things about this place, their food it's outstanding. We just had lunch and truly enjoyed. As a suggestion, please, let you servers know to ask if guests are done with their food before taking it away. My friend's soup was taken away while we were conversing and so was my plate as I was still enjoying my scallops. So fast, we had no time to stop the server.Other than that we have no complaints.

Very much enjoyed my dinner tonight at Bruna’s! We had the bruschetta, truffle ravioli, spaghetti, pistachio cheesecake, and gelato. Everything was delicious and fresh. Also loved the ambiance. Very nostalgic!
