Just stopped by here this morning. Had to instantly write a review. Seriously the best almond croissant I’ve ever had and I lived in France. You must go here. They absolutely do justice to the name.

I bike by this place all the time. So glad that I finally stopped. Will be my breakfast stop in the future. Cafe con leche was exactly what it should be, awesome.

Excellent pastries! Was not aware I had to pre-order n pay before pickup. But with the help of another customer was able to order.

We had the croissant egg sandwiches and they were fantastic! Add the G sauce and avocado :) Don't miss out on trying the pain au chocolat. It was freaking great!!

The best almond croissants! Here's why: the lamination of the dough is total craftmanship, it's flaky, buttery, almond-y in a non-artificial way, the almond paste filling is fresh and delicious, and it's topped with an almond crunch topping that just puts the texture experience over the top. We placed our order online on 3/12/21 using the link located within their IG profile, and picked up on 3/13. I was admiring the succulents in their window, and they offered if I wanted to take one home! That kind of kindness and hospitality spoke to me, and I so appreciated the connection they made with me. We returned on 3/20/21 and picked up more of those divine, other-realm almond croissants. I had heard that the biscuits were delicious so I asked if it would be possible to purchase the biscuits a la carte, and they responded graciously by promising to check into that and have the owner respond to me. This is a quality small business, and I'm so glad they're here on the Southside!

Really perfect almond croissant. You can only order online.

The owners of this business are so incredibly nice. I wasn't aware that they only accepted online orders due to Covid. When I walked in and found out, they still took my order anyways. The horchata donuts are DELICIOUS, so are the croissants! Love this place!

Price: $ Parking : Street Spotlight : Croissants Croissant Croissant! What to Get: - Raw Almond Croissant ($2.25) - Build you own breakfast sandwich ($3.75) - Dirty Horchata ($4.30) - Any croissants will do payment Options: Cash/Credit cart/Apple Pay *In my yelpions: Happy National I want You To Be Happy Day. I don't know about y'all, but a buttery flaky crust surely makes me happy. Been to Butterdough a few times, as their croissants are always consistent and super fresh. I love their Raw Almond croissant very much because is not overwhelming sweet with too much cream inside. And not to mention their croissants sandwiches are excellent and not over priced. Plenty of street parking in the front. So just grab a sitting spot outside by the shop and have a cup of horchata, or their house brew coffee to pair with will totally make your day. P.s: always call ahead of time to confirm their opening schedule. Since the store operation time on Yelp is not always correct .

This kid bakes the finest croissants in the city. Canada (cinnamon-sugar croissant) was astonishing and maybe the best thing I ate during the entire pandemic. The owner is down-to-earth and the vibe is no-frills, but after we ordered and ate an assortment of pastries (in the car), we ended up ordering more and driving back because it's that good.

This kid bakes the finest croissants in the city. The canelada (cinnamon-sugar croissant) was astonishing and maybe the best thing I ate during the entire pandemic. Amazing service, amazing shatteringly crisp crossaints.

Remarkable pastries made with love. The Canelada is a wonderful treat. Crunchy, chewy with pops of cinnamon and sugar. Other worldly. Go support this amazing local bakery.

My boyfriend and I checked this place out for the first time today and it was absolutely delicious! The croissant was nice and buttery. The worker there was really nice and helpful which made our experience even better. To drink I ordered a hot horchata which was also really good! I will definitely be going back.

Great experience pre-ordering on Tock! The Cinnamon Roll croissant was spectacular. I also tried the champurrado and an horchata with espresso. The owner was kind and interacted with my toddler and I while he made my drinks fresh. Go support them: local family businesses need our love.

PS ..

This place was closed for the past couple of months due to COVID. So I've been waiting for it to open. This past Sunday I realized was there 1st? Or 2nd day back open. So I took a 20 minute drive out there. We ordered 2 bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwiches, an almond croissant, and a cinnamon donut. 1st issue: you have to place the order online, the first time I tried placing the order for whatever reason it wouldn't place. So when I arrived we just went inside and told them it wasn't working, the guy who was working told us to try one more time and if it didn't work then he would just take care of us. (Why wouldn't you do that in the first place?) Well we tried a second time and the order went through. -We had to wait 25-30 minutes before the order was actually ready. -there's no where to really park 2nd issue : When we finally picked up the order inside we were informed that the almond croissant we'd ordered was not going to be available because they burnt all of them that morning. (The almond croissant was the only thing that drew me to this place) so they replaced it with the second most popular item instead. Didnt ask if we wanted a refund and didn't asked if WE would like something different, just replaced it with what THEY thought would be good. Crazy. The croissant sandwich is underwhelming. Didnt suck but nothing crazy. The bacon was gross. Egg cheese and croissant were actually pretty good. Croissant was nice and buttery. In the pictures the croissant LOOKS huge!! In person it's probably the smallest croissant I've ever seen. The item they replaced with my almond croissant was excellent actually. Nice crunchy and great taste. Although I'm not sure what the name of it was. Very similar to a croissant though. The cinnamon donut was not very good at all. Donut tasted like they fried it in the same oil as they do tortillas. So it pretty much tasted like a cinnamon tortilla donut. Wasn't very good. So two stars because it's far away from me, very underwhelming, too much of a hassle to order online find a parking space, wait 30 mins, and then be underwhelmed by the whole meal. Was about $23 total and wasn't even full by the end of it. Will definitely NOT be back. Can't understand all the hype
