I came here on a Friday evening with my cousin to grab a bite and a drink after a long flight. We were able to get a table pretty quickly. The food was good and the service was incredible. I would definitely tell people to come here! First I have to rave about the service here. The entire staff was super friendly and we had several different people stop by to check on us. It didn't matter that we added on extra things with different waiters, everything came out quickly, and correctly. When we asked for recommendations people were friendly and gave us good advice. The menu, people, and experience were very authentic. For drinks we got a hot chocolate, a Serbian brandy, and a Serbian beer. The hot chocolate was huge and topped up with an incredible mound of whipped cream. The brandy came recommended by our waiter and was pretty good. The Serbian beer (Lav) was very smooth. 10/10 would recommend. For food we got the sampler plate and the spinach and cheese burek. The sampler plate was pretty good variety and I liked it a lot. The burek was huge and we ended up eating most of it as leftovers the next day. Maybe it was because I was hungrier but it paired super well with my morning coffee.

My friend and I had a great time! We enjoyed the delicious desserts and coffee at the café. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress, Valentina, was especially nice and helped us with our order. I highly recommend this café to anyone who wants to try the best desserts ?

I came to Chicago for the first time from Detroit with my family and I was not familiar with the terrain. I have to tell you that we had a great time at Caffe Beograd, the food was great, we didn't know what to eat from local food but there were no problems, Zeljana is she was there to help us and recommended what we could do, and I can tell you that we wouldn't have made a better choice than her. You must stop by, especially if you don't live in Chicago, feel the real Balkans at Caffe Beograd and you'll feel right at home. Thank you. Ordered my favorite Beoberger. The berger looked horrible! The bread was old! Lettuce was very old, meat was NOT cooked! It was horrible! Fries were good! Serves was amazing as always! I went hungry and left hungry! I will not go back again!
