The food here was ok, not worth the price personally especially considering the quantity. The vegan risotto was very bland and the bread appetizer was just ok, definitely could not taste the jalapeños in the dip. Non-vegan friend had the milanesa and it was nothing special. Our waiter went above and beyond and was super friendly which is why I am rating it 2 stars. We went on a Friday night and it was surprisingly not busy. Wish them best of luck.

I made a reservation here for dinner one night and I'm glad that I did. Casati's was flexible and able to push our reservation back 15 minutes so that my boyfriend and I could walk to dinner and enjoy the weather. Our hostess and server were both friendly and attentive. The pinsina starter was amazing and unlike anything I have ever had. It had a nice kick to it and was served fresh and hot. We each got a pasta dish - Scott's Cappallacci (Lobster Ravioli) and the Gnocchi Cacio di Pepe. Both were delicious! For dessert, we split the Ciocolatissimo. It was incredible and the gelato that was served with it was wonderful. I also had some Pinot Grigio and took advantage of the check-in offer on Yelp for a free Limoncello. Casati's is a beautiful location and has a lot of space and outdoor dining options. It makes a great date night and can also be a spot to stop and grab a drink at the bar.

Food was good but very overpriced for the quality and quantity of food they give you. Had the Short Rib Ravioli and Gnocchi Al 4 Formaggj. Restaurant has a nice elegant atmosphere for a date night but expected more with the price we paid. Probably should have tried the pizza.

Cozy and luxurious ambiance with very attentive staff. Everyone seemed to work together well, giving guests consistent attention - we never waited for more than a moment. The food was both delicious and presented beautifully with generous servings.

A great restaurant, wonderful food, beautiful setting and Brad, our server, was fantastic. What a treat.

This place was not busy at all on a Saturday night, which was surprising. The service was quick bc of this and portions are a good size. The fried spaghetti arancini was different but was super fried. It came w a good sauce tho. The carbonara was not super authentic since it had a lot of cream sauce but was tasty. The pizza was good - I like the pinsa style. Only downside was I think it made me throw it all up once I got home.

Food was very good. Our waiter, Armis, was so friendly and funny. He went above and beyond. Thanks for a great night.

Stopped in during restaurant week and this was a great deal! Food was fresh and packed a lot of flavor, I loved the carpaccio and gnocchi! The restaurant is very spacious and would love to visit in the summer with all their outdoor seating. One thing was service was kind of slow. We sat on the bar side and it seemed like the bartender was servicing tables and making drinks, although it was too busy, but it took a long time to order food or get food to us. We ordered a pizza but that was never entered, which is fine, guess we'll try that next time!

Went on St Patrick's Day, early afternoon. Place was deserted save for a loud drunk group of 3. Ordered bread w herbs. Bread was supermarket quality. Herbs were not identifiable. Maybe parsley and truffle flakes? Ordered Arancini. Presentation was fine. Server said it would not contain meat but it came with meat sauce on the bottom. Risotto on the inside looked and tasted more like yellow rice. That was $16. Disappointing. Ordered Cappriciosa pizza. Hardly any artichokes. Mostly green pimento olives and mushrooms. Cheese looked like it was microwaved on, which is a cardinal sin with pizza. See picture. I think this was $19. Caught them on a bad day I guess.

My wife and I ate here again during our March 2024 visit to Chicago. Again the food was fantastic. My wife had the carbonara which excellent. I had the pappardelle in a meat sauce which I thought was absolutely divine. The sauce was flavorful and there was plenty of meat and sauce. Loved it! We started out with a Caesar Salad which we split. This was also really good and plenty for the two of us. The service was excellent. We asked for a quiet area, and they graciously placed us in a quiet back area. We loved the experience.

Pasta was undercooked, service was bad. Flatbread “pizza” was disgusting. Forgot one of our meals and had to wait for it after everyone else had already eaten. The gin peach drink was delicious though! Would not go again.
