First timers @cedarpalacechicago and it was an easy 10/10. We shared everything we ate. We started with their vegetarian appetizer sampler that included hummus, baba ghanouj, dolma, falafel, feta cheese, and tabbouleh. This was a perfect starter since we wanted to try most of these things anyways. For our main course, we got the combination platter that included beef shawarma, shish tawook, and kafta kebab over rice and with a side of lentil soup. ? This place was also BYOB so that was a huge plus! Check it out if you are in the city! You won’t be disappointed.

Lentil soup, hummus, and side salad tasted superb. Salad had the perfect amount of citrus and fresh crunch. Falafels, shish tawook (marinated, charbroiled chicken), and lamb were great. Extra cost for lamb was definitely worth it. Chicken shawarma and beef were a bit on the dry side but side sauces, pickled vegetables definitely helped. We enjoyed our dining experience and will visit again. Service was kind and professional.$10 corkage fee and 3.5% for credit card fee.

This is one of the best places I have eaten in Chicago. The food was authentic and decently priced! The service was welcoming and amazing! Can't wait to go back in the summer to sit in the back patio!

I’ve been trying to find a truly great Mediterranean restaurant for the past couple of years now, somehow this place slipped by. This place has the best Mediterranean food I’ve had to date. Dare I say home to the best food in general. Seriously, I could sit here for hours talking about how great the food is. I got the vegetarian combo which is very generous in its offerings. I don’t typically see such a variety in the ones other places offer, with grape leaves being a common omission. The veggies are also a very nice addition. Often times I’ll have to compromise. Sure one place has great baba ghanoush, but the hummus is weak. There’s no compromises here. This is the kind of food you’d feed to medieval royalty if you wanted to keep your head. I imagine the recipes were crafted around that time by some sort of magical creature. Whoever is actually making the food should be incredibly proud of their craft. You won’t regret going here. There’s a reason for the glowing reviews. I might cry if I ever hear about this place shutting down. If you’re still reading, I’m ashamed you haven’t dropped everything to start ordering. I’ll start a cult following if there isn’t one already

Dined at this restaurant before play. The food and service was amazing. It was so good we back the next night. Lamb, chicken was tender and delicious. Its a BYOB as many customers brought alcohol. We will revisit many times in the future!!

Best no frills Lebanese / Middle Eastern restaurant in the city. Straightforward, delicious shawarma, kafta, hummus, baba ganoush, and - of course - toum (garlic sauce). Very friendly and helpful staff. Will always recommend this place.

Delicious food, very good portions for the price and good variety! The interior is a bit small and the people inside were very loud but can't control who comes and goes. Overall spectacular food!
