Fast food, on the run. Tried the big Buford, double patty, cheese and condiments. Not a terrible burger, big definitely, filling. Chicken bites and fries were my favorite of the bunch. North and kostner, stop in for a quick bite next time your in the area. I don’t think I’ve had an experience like this ever, I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It was terrible, the bun wasn’t warm, the tomatoes and lettuce was old. and the bacon was raw, there was so much grease in the fries, I got no napkins and they forgot my two apple pies. I got home and wanted to call them to let them know I was coming back for my pies, their phone is disconnected. Very Very Ghetto. Close this place down

I have not been to checkers in seven years since moving to Chicago. Was really looking forward to nostalgia. I placed my order with the nicest and friendliest. The food brought back awesome memories but the customer service was beyond. Great, whoever goes here. I hope you get to interact with Marcus, legit the nicest guy and goes above and beyond.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I stood at the counter for about 10 mins watching one of the workers cleaning under the grill, as I waited for someone to take my order. It wasn’t until asked if they were open that the guy cleaning said he’ll be right there. This was terrible! Nothing like how I remember Checkers being…smh….extremely disappointed and disgusted ?. I finally placed my order, would you believe that the worker who was cleaning under the grill and sink area began preparing my food with the same gloves that he was wearing while he was cleaning underneath the grill and sink. I tried to wait to see if he was going to change his gloves before handling food, but he grabbed that bun with those same gloves! I yelled out, “ Hey, he needs to his gloves”! The lady was like, “ change your gloves, wash your hands, and throw the bun you grabbed away”! That was when I should’ve left, but after he did all that I received my food. Spicy chicken small fries. It was terrible, the chicken wasn’t fresh it was extra thin and dry, and the fries were hot but nasty. I would never go here again. What makes this entire experience worse is the fact that if I didn’t say something about the gloves he would have made my food with them on and that’s disgusting!? This Checkers food is not at all the way Checkers is. 0 ⭐️

Actually want to give them no star! What a change from when I was a kid. This was the spot once upon a time, my husband and I were so disappointed at our recent visit. Def not what it use to be, tastes like a CPS lunch burger ?. Dont do it ya’ll stay away!!!

Bro I’m here at this checkers right now, the lady who is working the drive thru told me to pull around to the window and is refusing to take my order . I’ve been waiting here for over 10 mins. The most ignorant and disrespectful thing I have EVER put up with at a restaurant. This is beyond terrible customer service.
