They have rats. Also on The Michigan location they're infested with roaches. I dont know how the city of chicago just shuts the place down for a day DUE TO FOOD IN THE WALK IN THAT HAD BEEN EXPIRED AND MOLDY FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG. And open the place back up for business next day. Chicagos food safety industry needs to take care of this place. They do not follow procedures. Cross contamination everywhere. I had never been in a kitchen as bad as that one.

Amazing food. The avocado toast was delicious. Tomatoes were fresh and very tasty. Excellent espresso.

The waffles were so so good!!!! It was crispy and just perfect. The best waffles i had in a while. I am a big fan of Avocado toast and I typically try it everywhere, here it was topped with burrata cheese and pesto (small portion or avocado) overall it was delicious but I was expecting to get more avocado taste. The sandwich was cooked to the perfection. The service was great and very nice staff with traditional and bit raw ambiance. Definitely recommend it and they have quite intensive menu so more and more reasons to come back here.

If you're into the chicken and waffle craze then this is a must go. They have several savory and sweet options as well as traditional breakfast options. Our sever was really kind and patient. Typical cafe/breakfast spot decor and vibes. I'd go back for sure

The quality of the food was good but we had a reservation and still had to wait a while to be seated and then be served. The ambiance is nothing special and was pretty crowded- but it is what I would expect from a brunch place. They had a lot of options and parking on the street is pretty available during weekend brunch time.

Definitely love this spot, they are so quick with their service! We got seated right away for a Sunday morning breakfast and the staff brought us water and asked us for our drink orders right away. Their menu consists of a variety of breakfast staples such as waffles, Mexican breakfast, pancakes, skillets, omlettes, etc. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the blueberry cheesecake waffles, I also got a half order on the side that consists of bacon, 1 egg, potatoes, and toast. My boyfriend got the meat lovers skillet and it was savory and super delicious. The bill was about $45 plus a tip. Everything came out extremely fast and we thought the decor was fun and aesthetically pleasing. Will come back soon!

Food is delicious, ample portions, healthy and/or a splurge, and serves delicious coffee! Busy, but able to be quickly seated, and served, and staff pays good attention to your table. Family friendly, large and small groups very welcomed. Seems like everyone there is having a wonderful time! Can't fake those expressions. Have nothing negative to say. Will be sure to return soon, and highly recommended for you dear readers. This is an honest review, and I'm happy to provide one for an Oak Park business.

It was quite busy and loud, maybe since it was St.Patrick's weekend. Luckily since I made reservations we got seated a bit quicker. We waited for about 15 almost 20 minutes for the lady to take our order in which really isn't ideal but again, busy weekend so understandable. I got the berry waffles with a side of sausage link and my goodness were they absolutely delicious. I think even the waffles by themselves without the fancy stuff would be delicious too. This place is pricey though. For waffles, sausage, French toast, eggs, and two coffees it came to a total of over $50. I would come here again just not every so often

The food was decent, pretty expensive for what it was. The portions were large. Standard breakfast food. The service was very slow, it took us a long time to get seated, place our orders, get our food, and get our check. Pretty traditional tables and chairs, nothing special on the ambiance but it was good.

The Healthy Skillet is so good and seasoned, I substituted the feta cheese for american and it was the best decision ever. The Apple Cinnamon pancakes were hood, only wished the topping was serviced hot. The Blue Mofo was STRONG, so if you like a strong drink this one is for you. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was quite considering I went at 2PM and they closed at 3PM. overall 8/10

The good thing about shrinkflation is that you don't get food coma (postprandial somnolence). This is another example of the saying: you get what you pay. Menu is big, good to see options. Food is OK. You could say prices are reasonable, however, since the amount of the food that is served was drastically reduced, you could say prices are regular, we all know it is a way to sneak the combat to inflation, which is fine; it should be nice to have an option that give you more food tagged as "amount before inflation". Even if the place was packed, the service was fast and good, also we got our drinks fast (considering the amount of patrons); in general, we had a good experience with the service! Other places offer good food at reasonable prices (i.e. Canton Regio), but here the food was (so) plain and as mentioned prices not really a bargain.Capuchinno was watery (imo), even they use a "European brand" of coffee, Julius Meinl is not my cup of coffee (pun intended). The Mexican waffles that have chocolate abuelita are so tasteless (having a chocolate abuelita syrup would have helped). Chorizo benedicts, even they had fat and burned, they were not tasty. Pancakes and Waffles were no good, no bad, but the opposite. Chicken waffle was less than average. Also, the TVs had CNN and other things that it is a visual contamination. The place has high chairs, kid's cups, kid's menu, but no crayons no draing pictures.Good touch to give you coffee to go.Too much regggaeton musicParking: Street parking outside, but difficult to findKid-friendliness: Highchair kids cups kids menu

Hello, it was my first time visiting the place, the food was excellent, the prices were good, the waitress who turned out to be the super rude man yesterday threw away the coffee just because I told her that the rate was split, she told me all these things, so imagine that when she brought me the coffee. He threw it at me because he spilled the coffee on the plate. I complained that he asked to speak to the woman yesterday and it turned out to be the same person who served me. He apologized but that treatment does not deserve my apologies. Thank you.

The drinks here are great, I normally order an Irish coffee and a shot of baileys on the side. The shot makes the coffee have a heavier kick and cools the coffee. For food I normally order a chicken and bacon waffle with a side of short ribs. In the mornings on week days this place is pretty quiet with maybe a couple of cops or other patrons sitting pretty far from each other and talking in low voices. The service is always pretty fast and very kind, I advise going in on a Tuesday or thursday rather than the weekend for a better experience overall.

It can be crowded because it's popular. Great place to sit and chat and have a nice breakfast. I ordered Belgian waffle, tea and chicken sausage. Servers are pleasant. Wait time to be seated was minimal.
