Colemans used to be a bbq joint that cared about their customers, and had QUALITY food now it's like WHATEVER. The meat be so damn tuff like the some of a shoe, not that I've ever eaten a shoe, but I know that it's tuff to withstand a lot of pressure. If your teeth are like the sole of a shoe then go to Coleman's and buy their rib tips whew chile

They don't put enough mild sauce on the wings and when you ask for more sauce they charge you for a cup and don't say anything. Wing's are good but very small. The service is slow if you don't call it in but they're very nice people. The place looks to be kept very clean.

Restaurants raise prices but don't keep the same quality. Food was horrible and I spent $50. I won't ever return.

It's really a shame colemans should be ashamed of how the food tastes I try to support black owned establishment but now I'm done with that support your own people u spend all your hard earned money and have your hopes up high after a hard day of work and luckily I'm not no crazy ratchet person because I would've threw that food back inside the window at the bald headed guy preparing the food I ordered 2 large tips today on March 14 2024 about 730 pm I specifically told him how I wanted my order got home no mild sauce on my ribs very dry rubbery the fries tasted stale and the bread was old its like they just throw people food together without any consideration and this is on a regular basis it just happened recently and I gave em another chance and the lady that takes the order knows me always trying to be friendly knowing the order is terrible after me paying 30 dollars I'm just so mad at how my food was prepared but honestly I know they don't care it's fine tho I want be spending my money there in a very very very very long time

They food is so good and the people who work there are so nice my kids love there food
Great food and engaging staff. However , The customer area is kind of congested for the current social failures of Chicago's urban culture.

I swear Ice Cube came to Chiago and had the sauce @ Coleman's. How else could he have come up with the phrase, "SO GOOD YOU'LL SLAP YOUR MOMMA!!" I've never had a bad experience with anything I've ever ordered. My daughter has a "HIT LIST" of places to eat when she comes home. And THIS is 1st on the list!!!

My first time there ,by referral. Here is my experience there.. they were disorganized ,the young lady that was taking my order walked away while in the middle of me placing my order and when she returned I said that I wasn't finish .she was very rude and didn't want to take time out to answer my questions. keep in mind its my first time there , she made me so angry with the way she was treating me ! So I just took my order off and paid her for my husband's order . I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!

Ordered a large order of rib tips. The whole order was burnt and dry I had to throw them out. Why would you sell burnt and dried out meat to your customers? Get someone in your business that know how to cook ribs without burning and drying out the meat.
