A good bar to go to late at night mixed crowd... Not a fan of the beer prices though but hey the staff is very attentive I'll give them credit for that and security is always respectful I been there twice now!! ❤

I had recently been going to The Continental frequently to play pool, and it had truly become one of my favorite places to play. That has now all changed because of a hostile encounter with one of the people employed by The Continental.I had gone over to The Continental just to catch a quick game of pool with a friend. As I was entering, a man who was a stranger to me came up to me asking my friend and I to leave because they were "about to call last call in 10 minutes" I had never interacted with this person, so I politely told him that I would ask someone who works there and went inside. As I walk inside, this man pushes past me and sets himself up in front of the security guard that I'm familiar with. He comes close to my face and starts repetitively verbally abusing me by saying "that he works there" and to "get out" amongst other things. I went into a stress response because I didn't understand what I did to be treated so poorly by someone I had just met. I told the security guard that I will leave, and I walked outside and ended up crying. I resolved to talk to the owners about this wildly misogynistic behavior so I went to ask the security guard at the door what the other person's name was. As I'm doing this, the same person who got in my face comes by and very rudely tells me his name. I tell him that his actions were hurtful to me, and he tells me that he doesn't care and whatever I do will have no effect on him because he's close to the owners. The employee's name is Ron.Because of the apathetic and abusive behaviors of the employees here, and because of the frequent robberies and violent environment, I will not be returning. I would also advise you, reader, against it.
a great place to drink late night. dont park bikes outside without security in them...plates get snatched there all the time...cars are at risk also...its a good bar just make sure your plates are hard as hell to steal...no food service is what you would expect at a place like this... can get a bit rowdy...nothing different from any late night bar...good people for the most part... secure your plates. lock doors set alarms.... otherwise its fine

So, come here on a Weds or Tuesday night. If you come on a Friday or Saturday, it’s gonna be a lot of 23 year old kids with Motörhead shirts complaining about how Chicago is changing. Add a line for the bathroom, or people doing lines, whatever your move is.On an off night, this place rules.
