I'm going to air on the positive for Dai Yee. I am hoping it was an off night, bad coverage, etc.. Their Mongolian chicken is not good (slimy, no wok hei flavor). The pork bun and chicken garlic are perfect on the dough but not on the filling (kinda slimy and bland for both pork and garlic chicken which it was not). The wonton soup is heavenly. Get that!

Amazing!! The food was excellent, and the portions are more than generous.
Finally made it here last Saturday. I was expecting to encounter overhyped food but was gladly mistaken. Everything we had was fresh to order. I do not have any complaints. We will definitely be going back to try other items. I have tried many Asian restaurants and have been mostly let down. This restaurant and Wah Sun are the only restaurants I will go to.

I forget to snap a pic but I ordered the Mongolian trio. Tasty but too many onions and none of the crispy on top. I will try something different next time.

The food is fantastic! Bursting with flavor throughout. I've been here around 4 times and always have a different experience.

The food was Amazing!!! I loved the barbecue pork buns! The Singapore shrimp noodles were perfect! Crunchy fresh sweet & Sour chicken! The rice was a bit hard for my liking but, overall I highly recommend.

Every time I have ordered delivery from here the food is delicious and packed with care. I have tried the sesame chicken, cashew chicken and the crab rangoons- all delicious. This has become a new favorite takeout spot for consistently good food.

I ordered Szechwan chicken and lo mein for delivery and the food was excellent. But I was even more appreciative of how accommodating the staff was - I forgot to add a request for no mushrooms to one of the dishes and they were able to correct it for me, even though it was totally on me. Thank you!

Dai Yee is the best Chinese takeout on northside of Chicago. Full stop. It’s pricier than most, but you get what you pay for: very high quality ingredients (including meat that is recognizable as meat, not gristle), large portions, and delicious flavor.

Our office placed a big order for a office holiday lunch, and every single one of us loved the food. There were so many dishes that I couldn't tell you exactly what we ordered, but everything was delicious. I would say the standout dishes were the buns and dumplings. You could tell these were homemade from the soft chewy dough, but still had a good bite. Another amazing dish that I've never tasted before was a noodle dish with a black bean sauce with a little spicy kick. Perfect flavors!

Ordered through Uber Eats and after 1 hour wait UE canceled order. Lisa is amazing! She went above and beyond when I reordered the next day to make everything right even though UE was responsible.Food was delicious and will make this a regular when in Chicago. Thank you!
