My only complaint was the food, everything else was very nice, especially the workers. The bread was so tough to chew..

Danke is a solid option within the Revival Food Hall with so many other choices. I got the Inglorious Batard and the Roasted Tomato Soup, which had a nice little spicy tang to it! The Inglorious Batard was a nice twist on the classic French Jambon-Beurre with a pickle added to it. Nice whipped butter and a delicious ham on a solid baguette, was really happy with my choice! The revival food hall is great and has a wonderful vibe with so many options! Overall a wonderful later night meal right before the food hall closed.

Mediocre bratwurst, tomato soup is about average. Staff and atmosphere are excellent. Sour dough bun was falling apart, sauerkraut seemed to be American style versus German or Austrian. Not sure why anyone would put pickles on a bratwurst.Mainly just tasted like cheap meat and grease.

I don't usually review after a single visit but I'm so sure they're better than 3.5 stars I had to jump in sooner than later. It's important that you come without your American expectations of what a sandwich should be and allow for a more European sensibility and style. It's 4 stars just based on the food quality. I have to address the complaints about the prices. They're very reasonable and especially for downtown Chicago and the high end ingredients. I loved the secret sandwich. You're not going to find this anywhere else in Chicago. Duck Liver Mousse, Sliced Pork Belly, Emmental Cheese, Smoked Pickled Onion, Whole Grain Mustard, Arugula on House Baguette. This is a fabulous and well crafted sandwich. Get a bag of chips to break up the bites and maybe even a beer. A deal of a sandwich for $11.50. I'm going to come back to try more but take a retired chef's word for it that Yelpers have this completely wrong. It's not one of the many chains I will not mention. It's completely different. Come with an open mind.

Got the Inglorious Batard but added lettuce. Good spot for lunch because they get the food out very quickly and have a small bar counter area you can sit at and eat. Sandwich was large and filling. Bread was good and crusty and I really enjoyed the actual ham. It wasn't your typical deli meat and you could tell it was good quality.

Danke is a solid lunch/dinner option. Prices are actually reasonable, service fantastic, and food delicious! They make most of their ingredients in-house, including the bread. Highly recommend the Secret Sandwich!

I order from Danke about once a month when I’m in the office. I have had a lot of sandwiches on the menu and they are all good. You can’t go wrong. However, my personal favorite is the secret sandwich. Pictured is the Italian because that’s what I ordered when I decided to actually leave a review. They’re always timely, friendly and the sandwiches are consistently good.

Get some German and good sandwiches from this place in Revival Food Hall. It also has options for vegans. Danke is best known for sandwiches and deli items. Must be good because it was one of the original tenants. The food has pretty good flavor for something in a food hall, and isn't like canned or bargain like stuff. A place to hang around is at the bar. It has some overpriced cocktails. The food is the main thing. Okay prices on the food especially for around here. The Chickpea Salad is one of the best sides. It's about $6 for a big portion and it's filling. The Veg is the vegan sandwich option. It's about $10 and comes with a side, with salads among the choices. This has arugula, braised mushrooms, eggplant, cauliflower purée, sun dried tomatoes, and zucchini. Big sandwich and is a lot for the cost This seems like a good deal to be honest. Convenient to get to if downtown. It's mainly for people who work around here. They're closed weekends.

Great food! Great service! Had the Marinated Kale Salad—the roasted beets gave the salad a really good earthy taste and the lemon vinaigrette is to die for. Prices are great too!

Pretty cool and diverse selection of restaurants although several were closed for the day at 4p. Enjoyed a nice kale salad, smoked turkey baguette sandwich and local craft beer. Danke!

As usual I couldn't decide on what to get so I got 2 sandwiches. The turkey and the ham. I started with the ham and butter sandwich as essentially that's what it is. It was good and finished the first half happily. The turkey was good as well but for me the stand out was the cheese on it. I eventually ate the first half of that but with the second half I removed the cheese and added it to the second half of the ham sandwich. Both sandwiches were good. Although it won't be a place I crave to order from. Solid though.

Food was over priced and did not taste good. They try to do too much with their flavors and aesthetic and you pay for it.
