GO HERE! Seriously, just go. My husband and I were looking for a good jerk place to try in the neighborhood and this place popped up. Well reading through some reviews and pics, we decided to give it a try. I tell you what, it may not look like much from the outside, the food is the real deal! They are putting their foot in it for real! We got the jerk chicken dinner and the fried catfish dinner. The chicken is good on its own, but that sauce is fire. And the peas and rice was a hit for the both of us with that pepper jelly sauce. The greens were so good and had just enough spice and the Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy. But I've got to hand it to them with the yams. I have never liked candied yams. But I would buy a side of these anytime! I loved that they weren't overly sweet and were large chunks of sweet potato. We will definitely be back to try some other dishes. And as a bonus, happy to support a local business.

I've now gone to Dirty Tiff's THREE DAYS in a row for dinner. The Beef Short Ribs were so tender & tasty! The jerk chicken was flavorful, and the meatloaf was savory and DELICIOUS. The greens are well seasoned with a touch of spiciness. The candied sweets have the flavor you are looking for in them without being drowned in sugar or syrup. The mac & cheese is dish that still has opportunity to be improved upon. It had good browning on top which helped the taste. The peas and rice were SOLID. Seasoned well and topped with a very tasty gravy. All three of my meals were carry outs.

Food is incredible but they're never open, they say they close at 11 but for some reason they don't take any orders after 8PM, incredibly frustrating as this is one of my favorite places in all of Chicago

Exceeded my expectation on that Red Snapper. Just came off of vacation from the Caribbean and was craving it, it was $40 but worth every penny. Big enough for 2 but I’m not sharing lol. Definitely coming back!

OMG this place is good!!! Found this recommendation off of TikTok. I had the pot roast, mac & cheese, yams, and cabbage. Wow! Don’t judge the place from the outside, (or even the inside,) but the food is phenomenal. The owner is the nicest person on the planet. As a no-spice, white bread eating white guy from the northside, I wasn’t too sure if I was gonna like the jerk, but it was good ! I will definitely be back!

The food is very good ( jerk chicken) and sides. The cat fish is flavorful but a little too much char,(CARCINOGENS)... They must clean properly where the floors meets the wall (cove base),as to not Turn- off good pay customers. These simple corrections makes for a more comfortable and pleasant experience. I will continue to support this business! 4 stars

The restaurant is so good literally haven't had nothing like them in so long I love soul food and when I say they food is of the chain I really mean that nice a seasoned customer service is phenomenal I can't wait too try more of they food and to the owner nice work honestly

The food is so good. It's authentic slow cooked Jamaican food. Each time I went the customer service was very friendly. I had the grill shrimp with a side of cabbage and sweet potatoes.
