Amazing donuts!! A must-have when visiting the Chicago area they also have some very interesting donut options. Make sure you go in the morning close to opening because the line can be long. Also this is not a store or restaurant, just a little walk-up window so the service is always very quick. There is not much seating outside though so you might be awkwardly eating your donut on the street.

Great way to start your day! Enjoyed their doughnuts from day one. My grandson is now a big fan too.

The cashier was so sweet and kind. Donuts were amazing, but they are expensive. Worth it though!

Fun spot to grab some donuts! Very tasty offerings and friendly service. I had the old fashioned, birthday cake, and apple fritter. The limited quantity does add an element of suspense and exclusivity where the first time I tried coming they had already sold out.

Really cute hole in the wall location located right by the merchandise mart. Employees were super welcoming and friendly and the Doughnuts were super delicious and affordable! Would definitely recommend.

Delicious donuts. We’ve been visiting often, however, today the service was disappointing. The guy seemed bothered that my toddler didn’t want to come inside and said next time I should use the window ( it’s freaking 35 degrees cold!). Also asked for a cup of water and he said he only has water bottles for sale when the water cups and water dispenser is clearly next to him. Not cool!

I ordered some donuts via DoorDash because I wanted to try them out while we were in town, and I wasn't sure we would be in that area. They arrived very quickly on Sunday morning. We also ordered coffee, which was delicious. I ordered 6 donuts (chocolate old fashioned, buttermilk old fashioned, almond old fashioned, pistachio old fashioned, vanilla yeast doughnut, and an apple fritter). We agreed that the chocolate old fashioned was the best of the bunch. The apple fritter was our least favorite, nothing special, my grocery store's are better. The Vanilla yeast doughnut was very good, and huge. The old fashioned doughnuts were all good, the flavor of icing and toppings made them different. I don't care for almond extract and I tasted that in both the almond and pistachio ones. All doughnuts were fresh and beautiful, the coffee was great.
I had a birthday cake donut and a triple chocolate donut, both were amazing! Chocolate based donuts sell out quickly first thing in the morning based on the two visits I had during my Chicago trip. Employee Julio is the best!

I’m so disappointed! I love donuts from here but they sent me with the wrong order and there’s no way to call to get a hold of someone to amend the issue. I’m just waiting for an email now to get my order corrected. A phone line would be incredibly helpful.

Doughnut Vault is a cool little experience in downtown Chicago. As the name implies, the shop is fairly small and built into the side of a brick building so when it gets busy it can be a tight squeeze inside. When I went in the morning there was no line so I quickly placed my order.Normally I prefer a regular raised glazed donut but this spot is famous for their buttermilk old fashioned so I gave that a try. It did taste delicious. There was enough cake but not too much oil and the glaze was good.Coffee wise I tried the drip but I wasn’t as impressed. It tasted a bit watery and bland so I would pass next time and stick to the donuts which rotate flavors.
