The neighborhood seemed a little unsafe but the purchase of fresh fish was worth it.Dietary restrictions: I am eating less red meat and just eating fish now.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that leads directly to the front door.No steps.

It's been a long time since I've had some fried green tomatoes. These were good. I closed my eyes while I ate them and remembered another time and another place. Now that's some good eating friend.
Great tasting Fresh Fried Catfish; For the Price you Pay under $10 for 5 pieces of Fish, Fries, Coleslaw and Roll and that's a small order; NOBODY compares to them. DUWELL has been in the Community for over 50 years. They sell live and Fresh Fried Fish. My Favorite is the CatFish. I won't buy fried fish from no other Restaurant. DELICIOUS! PERIODT.

Went in for live catfish. I was greeted with a smile and prompted service. Picked a very large catfish and had it staked. I wasn't aware that they also sold fish breading, I bought a bag of spicy. For the time of day I was there the wait wasn't long at all. I believe I was in and out in about 15mins. I was in at 12:45 and was headed home by 1:00 pm on a Friday. There were some seats for waiting if needed. There is a nice sized work area. You walk in select your fish, have it cut per your request and it's all done in front of you. I live in the suburbs, but, this is definitely worth a trip to the city. Yes, I highly recommend this establishment and I shall be returning. Enjoy.
