Stopped in because I was soooo hungry and forgot my yogurt in the fridge and had a 10 A.M. meeting. The guy, who I assume is the owner, was beyond nice and HONEST. When I asked him how long it would take to get something with eggs to go he said like 5 min. He was spot on! Had a steak and egg sandwich - normally do not eat that way in the morning but it was EGGSELLENT! Will be back for sure when I am in the area to try something else! The place is also very clean, so I really hit the jackpot today!!! Love the name too LOL

My partner and I went to Eggs with Benefits with several friends for brunch today and were blown away by the food and service. I had the Doshirak Korean bowl and was so pleased by the serving size and high quality of the ingredients Sometimes, when I order a Korean bowl, I leave hungry but the size of this bowl at EWB left me stuffed and satisfied. The spam was perfectly fried, the eggs were so soft and fluffy, and the kimchi provided both texture (cronch cronch) and that briny, vinegary sour. It was such a well balanced dish and I would definitely order it again. My partner had the sausage and egg sandwich and I couldn't help but steal more than just a few bites. The eggs were so good!! I don't know how they get their scrambled eggs so soft and fluffy, but combined with the melted cheese, it was heaven!! The sausage was seasoned well and had a nice hint of spice. Andrew, the owner, was so warm and welcoming. He was clearly very busy and the whole restaurant was full but he came out of the kitchen and chatted with us. When he saw that no one at our table ordered the Japanese curry bowl, he was visibly surprised so we had to have one and we all split it. The dish is like a big hug! The curry has warm spices and the pickled radish balances everything out wonderfully. The restaurant itself was very clean and organized. I really appreciated the self-order kiosk and like that there are two. I never saw anyone having to wait in a line of more than one other person. The food came out pretty quickly and the staff is so friendly. I love that the restaurant was full of young students, families with kids, and older folks as well. I will definitely be making Eggs with Benefits a regular brunch spot!

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Had the Korean doshirak and egg scramble sandwich which were both amazing. Would highly recommend this place.

We're so happy Eggs with Benefits opened up in Rogers Park! As an Asian household, we love having the option of having our favorite forms of breakfast readily available! If you haven't tried it already, give it a try. Everything we've eaten from here as been amazing but my favorite is definitely the Japanese Curry, Hash Bowl and Doshirak Bowl.

My sandwich would’ve been amazing but I think the chef completely dropped the ball by ruining it with American cheese. Every other part of the sandwich works but it needs a sharp cheese option to balance the flavors. Everything is super soft and delicate in texture and flavor. If I do try them again i would try without cheese. Hopefully they get another, better cheese option. Those sandwiches deserve better.

This place has to make it. A Korean breakfast spot is unheard of in this neighborhood. As somone who really loves BOpngrill I really enjoyed the meal here. You guys need to throw something on the window letting people know what type of establishment this is because I straight up thought this was an American breakfast sandwich spot.

This restaurant provides a great fusion of American breakfast foods with a variety of Asian flavors (including Japanese and Korean). The food is spectacular and the chef is friendly and knows their clientel. I would highly recommend this as a fast casual spot to stop by for breakfast and lunch.

Great friendly service, and 10/10 food! Bacon sandwich was so good. And the fried pork and curry bowl was so good (and filling!) too!

I ordered the scramblers eggs with onions and cheese with hash brown (crispy and perfectly soft from the inside). Will definitely be going here again! Very fast service too.

there’s a reason why this restaurant is 5 stars on google reviews, probably the best egg sandwich/burger i’ve ever had so far.

Scrambled eggs can be a hit or a miss in general and if you have a South Asian palate like me, eating eggs at a non-desi place can turn out to be a seriously underwhelming experience. But that wasn't the case at this place. I ordered the soft scrambled egg sandwich, side of hash brown patty, and fresh orange juice. Firstly and most importantly, the scrambled eggs weren't runny or mushy, and the sandwich had a nice structural integrity overall. The brioche bun was soft and crispy, and not soggy. The cheese (I am assuming it was cheddar?) paired perfectly with the egg and wasn't too sharp, which I appreciate very much. Same for the caramelized onions, which I asked to add a tiny amount of since I didn't want it to overpower the taste of the sandwich. The brioche bun was a bit charred, but I didn't really taste that in the sandwich. The hashbrown was nice and crispy but it could definitely be made more flavorful. The staff and the owner are super welcoming and warm.If oddly eggy and bland eggs make you cry and you don't wanna have to douse your eggs in hot sauce to make them more palatable, definitely try out this place. I will definitely be going back!

Eggs with Benefits is just heavenly to be honest. I'm not even the biggest egg person but this place makes me crave them. A delectable soft scramble upon some of the best butter-toasted buns I've ever had... add the garlic mayo, melty cheese and caramelized onions and it's seriously the best breakfast you'll ever have. I've also tried the Japanese curry bowl with the crispiest hashbrown on top. I've also enjoyed a good side of kimchi. And the fresh orange juice is FRESH! Service is always fast, employees are super friendly (shout out to the one guy who gave me, my sister and boyfriend some free hashbrowns to celebrate midterms being over!!) and the inside is nice and clean if you're trying to sit down and eat it at its freshest.

Loving this addition to the neighborhood! A great spot for grab and go or to sit and chat. I’ve tried bowls and sandwiches, which are incredible. The egg salad is absolutely 12/10 and a must when they have it! Definitely stop by!
