Today April 26th 2024, I normally don't leave reviews like this but today I had a terrible experience in this restaurant. So my friends suggested to go here after going to a funeral, and I once last year went here on a rainy day like today and the siling was leaking but not like today . But today I was sitting down in this table that was in the middle of the restaurant and since it was raining my friend said omg my purse and I see how her coat and purse were all wet. Then we decided to move to another table and I got all wet because the siling had leaks and got my hair and all my back wet. That was super embarrassing. So the server suggested us to move to this other table. So 2nd table in less than 1/2 hour seriously. The server was very nice and apologized to us but it's not her fault. This place have to invest on fixing all this problems in the siling seriously don't go in there when is raining or take your umbrella! The problem is real. Also fix the bathroom please.

I ordered breaded Fish and it was not seasoned. It was also dry as if it was laying out on a counter for hours. They have steamed vegetables that were hard and not even salted, prawns were not fully cooked, rice was old, garlic shrimp had no garlic. Brothers food was also super dry and had more vegetables than fish, everything was bad. Cups smelled like eggs. The service was also bad, and on top of that they tax you for leaving a tip lol. Do not come here.

This place was not what it use to be. First thing I notice was empty tables and noone waiting which is rare there. Well this explains it. Its way overpriced and they cut down on the meat portions. $110 dollars for a parrillada with 2 thin pieces of steak when before you had enough to take home. Margaritas are still good but if your gonna charge me more dont reduce the portions. Plus tipping starts at 20%. Really debating on going back considering this was a regular place for me.

I don’t know why it has such a low rating. The food was ammmazing a little expensive but still really good and the micheladas were some of the best I’ve had in the city. Service was great but I came on a Monday at 4pm.

Food is super authentic and the place is filled with Mexican patrons which is a good thing to see. Nice atmosphere and in a good location in Chicago's West Town. But, the food is prepared sloppy. I have a carne asada salad that tasted good but had bits of avocado peels in there. Also, if you're going to slice oranges in the salad, do the rest and take out the seeds. The Shrimp Soup tasted great but why not take the shrimp shells off the tails instead of making the customer dunk their hands into hot soup and remove them? Just lazy. Too bad too because the food is tasty.
