The pie here is wonderful! We went on Pi day, knowing it was gonna be very full. I had pre-ordered and prepaid a traditional apple pie. It was one of the best apple pies I’ve ever eaten! I love it!The only reason this isn’t five stars is that, when I went, they wanted me to wait in the 20 minute line to pick up my pre-ordered and prepaid pie. This is just a simple management issue. It can be improved.But please do eat this pie!

So, I've been going through a tough time recently, and yesterday thus expressed itself as "Heck it, spend way too much money on delivery. Yes, order 5 slices of pie." Ma'am, that was the best decision of my life. I ordered: French silk, coffee toffee, Michigan sour cherry, blueberry cheesecake, and key lime. I started with the key lime...I took my first bite and I had to lie down to process what was happening inside my mouth. And I'll admit that I was skeptical! Because I'm a key lime pie purist, and First Slice has a layer of cream on top. But it's AMAZING. Like....really. Next was coffee toffee. Nice, heavy coffee flavor. Delicious. I just now finished devouring the blueberry cheesecake, which might be my favorite thing in the entire world. Gearing up for the last two, which I have no doubt will make me weep. OMG just give them your money and thank me later.

Love this place. The food is good and the portions are the right size, but what makes this place is the staff. Everyone is warm and inviting and they really make you feel at home here. Someone in our house is in there everyday, even if just to say hello to the crew there.

Simple, nondescript, but serves delicious food. Nice selection of sandwiches and soups. Good salads too. Pies are scrumptious. Well-known for their apple pie, and they deserve the good reputation. Next to the Francisco stop on the Brown Line. So very convenient to travel to.

Super nice pie sandwich and cafe shop! We had the bacon onion quiche and the crust was delightful, the duck and Mozzarella sandwich was very tasty! Get yourself an iced latte they have very nice coffee!

My employer also enlisted First Slice for our Thanksgiving Pie Give Away. They have a large variety of pies to choose from. In addition to the traditional pies, they also create some unique ones. The s'more and chocolate peanut butter pies looked divine. The rep was helpful and patient with our orders. Pies were delivered on time for the give away. I'd definitely recommend First Slice to my family, friends and companies looking to cater.

Nice little cafe next to the train that offers specialty coffee, salads sandwiches and quiche. Pizza on fridays. They have both indoor seating as well as a little patio in front.I got the Smoked Turkey & White Cheddar Sandwich with a mixed green salad, a black coffee and a cookie.I took my food and ate it in the Manor Park across the tracks. The salad was simple but fresh and delicious..! The sandwich was one of the best ive had in a long time. I cant wait to come back and try another sandwich!
