Highly Recommend: overall this place was great, I had different tacos and kimchi fries and all tasted great, would most definitely come back, and wish I tried this place before. The menu and flavor is strikingly similar (if not almost the same) to Del Seoul on N. Clark, not sure what's going on with that, only portions seem different in size. So if you like that place you'll most likely enjoy this place as well.

Korean BBQ pork taco was my favorite. I'd have a pic, but I ate it first before thinking of taking a pic for a review. I tried 3 different tacos, and they were all AMAZING! Korean/Mexican is an amazing fusion. I will eat here again.

Guys… great tacos, awesome atmosphere, and amazing experience. There’s a reason this place is a 4.7 * on here. Couldn’t be happier got the kimchi fries and they were wonderful. I’m very impressed. Thank you guys at Forastero!!!

We were in town for a long weekend. My spouse is vegan, so we were going to places that were exclusively vegan or at least had vegan options. This was so good to hear we ended up coming back, even though we had lots of other places we could've tried. The vegan pastor was nothing special, but the vegan Korean BBQ taco, vegan fish taco, vegan kimchi fries, regular fish taco, and shrimp taco were all delicious.

Pretty good experience and very friendly service. Had a medium sized group and were able to be seated Sunday evening. Got the Forastero, fish, and kalbi tacos. All good, but I definitely thought the fish stood out. Good crisp and excellent flavor. Dak wings were a big disappointment. Came out way too hot on the inside (seemed like it was nuked in the microwave) and the sauce was heavy and artificial. Decent sized portion so didn’t mind the price too much. Friends thought the kimchi fries and bugolgi bowl were also decent.Overall very large selection and want to try the vegan menu next time.

I got takeout from here and ordered the fish, shrimp and bulgogi. The 3 tacos came out to around $20, which is pretty expensive, but I appreciated how they were fairly large tacos. The fish tacos were the best and the pickled onion on top really made the flavors all come together in unison.

Awesome restaurant - the Go Fish tacos are amazing! The kimchi fries are also great. One of my favorite spots in Chicago

What a cute establishment and the folks who run it are very nice! Loved the fusion of flavors. The vegan al pastor taco was our favorite thing on the menu! Also really loved the bulgogi taco, their horchata and the kimchi fries. Excited to go back!

We just walked in here because it seemed like every pizza place in town was booked on a weekend. This was such a wonderful surprise! Service - The service was great! The girl taking orders was so sweet and helpful! Cleanliness- this place was very clean. The tables were never a mess and they constantly picked up whenever we finished. The food- AMAZING! I didn't know what to expect with a Korean and Mexican fusion but this was IT. the tacos were huge and filled with meat. On average, it was about $5.5 for each taco which I thought was too much but the tacos were so good and so big! I would definitely go again and I highly recommend this place!

I've gone here countless times and it's always worth it! My go to is the esta camaron taco (fried shrimp) and the bulgogi taco. The tacos are so good and very filling, especially with the salsa that they give. The prices are a bit pricey but I feel like that's pretty normal for a fusion taco place. The restaurant is hidden away and I love how lowkey the vibes are!

This is a good restaurant. The tacos are amazingly delicious, with a bit of a difference in some ways when it comes to the flavor and ingredients, but the tacos are really delicious. This is a good spot, although I am not completely satisfied with the experience I just had on that particular spot, and I will definitely go back next time. I did not know that Chicago had this kind of hidden demographer. Their food is good, and the portions are good as well. It is not too much, just enough considering its price. The employees they have were friendly and attentive when I went in here for the first time. I've only tried the tacos here and the nachos, but they were really delicious. I must say that each taco they have is really delicious, and sometimes it is really hard to choose what flavor of taco to get because everything tastes really good from this place. It is also a Korean spot, considering the menu with different Korean foods and the interior of the place. Their fish tacos also taste good, and it will definitely be my favorite tacos that they have.

Had the fish taco which was fresh and flavorful. Only gripe is that the taco fell apart pretty badly like two bites in and it kinda killed it for me. A slightly bigger tortilla would’ve helped make this 5 stars for sure, but a nice concept that I’m hoping to try more of.

The food and service were wonderful! We had Big bird taco, shrimp taco, bbq pork taco, bulgogi taco the bulgogi bibimbop and the bulgogi sandwich + fries. Everything was wonderful, so flavorful and would be ordered again. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Nice amount of vegan options but vegan BBQ was overly salty and saucy. Taste sort of like very salty Chinese BBQ pork and bit spicy

Incredible food and the nicest family! Try the Esta Camarón taco, the horchata, and the rice bowls.
