The first time I visited, I didn't know it was cash only. I was with my 11 year old niece and told the woman working that we'd go find an ATM and come right back. I asked if she could hold our items on the side in the meantime. She insisted we take the items and come back later that day to pay. It was very trusting of her and refreshing to have a small neighborhood feel. The gesture was so very appreciated! I did pay later that day. :)

Walked in thinking this was going to be a nice bakery with some bagels and such. Nope, it's a run of the mill Spanish bakery with VERY few options. Had to walk right back out. There are several really good Spanish bakeries in Albany Park, this didn't look like one of them, and even more of a knock for misleading business name.

Why is this wonderful local gem not on Maps? As your Local Guide, I'm telling you: It's cheap, great, and you must visit there to try delicious Guatemalan pastries and coffee!

It's just plain Latin style bread and plain old coffee. The only plus side is that the coffee wasn't bad and the bag of day old bread was $1. Even the featured breads were mislabeled; no bread there had any filling or much of anything to select from. I'm sure once they get their store more put together, there will be more options

Had a plain donut this morning, it was light and wonderful. Owner is very friendly and the items are well priced, delicious and fresh.

It's a family runned business. Fresh donuts daily offered. Special of remaining donuts after 4 pm daily, 2 donuts for $1!
