There’s no food here. They have it about eight drafts with some of your standards for an Irish pub and a few local Chicago beers. There’s a friendly free euchre game on Sunday nights at 6:00.

The bar tender was a gem. Accidentally walked in to see what they had available and ended up spending a couple hours enjoying the bartenders conversation and got one of the best old fashioned I'd ever had. Thanks for making Chicago exploration fun. Hope to get to your brother's bar downtown.

We followed our hearts and the twinkle lights to this perfect neighborhood spot. Everyone is welcome here. Fun events (drag queen bingo, holiday parties) that are low key and enjoyable. Lots of different types of people, great service. My only 5 star review on Google.

Great little find one long day of walking around Loyola. Very welcoming people. Great beer selection on tap and the popcorn seasoning selection was off the hook. We went in for a drink and stayed a few hours. Great place!

There is no food at this Gracie O'Malley's but is a very clean and fun neighborhood bar here on the crossroads of Edgewater, Edgewater Beach, and Rogers Park. It has been renovated to the point that is not a dive bar, but still retains neighborhood charm, and has a friendly clientele from all walks of life. There are definitely multiple screeens for the many various sporting events. It's a welcoming place, and primary bartender and manager Cara is fab! There is also free old fashioned popcorn if you get the munchies, and reasonable prices as well.Parking: Availability of parking depends on time, but there is city metered parking all around.

My love and I stopped at Gracie O'Malley's on a whim, as we were doing a long walk around town on a fine Saturday afternoon and wanted to grab a drink. We went to the Gracie O'Malley's near Six Corners previously, but this was our first visit to the Edgewater - Clark Street location (formerly the site of the Norse Bar). This location does not serve food, but we just wanted a beer anyway. Thanks to the handy dandy Yelp check-in, we somehow received a free shot each, so I got to try some Tullamore Irish whiskey! We did not get to try out the free popcorn with an assortment of seasonings, but if we were staying a bit longer, I would have had a go at it. All in all, it was a pleasant excursion. Good drinks, different screens showing sportsball, the bartender was a nice chap, and hey they have outlets at the bar so you can top off your mobile device after hours of walking! Perhaps you may run into a friendly dog, or a group painting session when you visit.

It's always refreshing to stop into a neighborhood bar and find the patrons and staff to be welcoming to newbies. Our bartender was super friendly and filled us in on some of the fun events they host, including a paint night and a seasonal pumpkin decorating event. They have multiple outlets along the bar for charging, which is a much-appreciated perk I wish more establishments would install. We did have to watch him "cut off" a needy customer...it was a dog who had been over-served treats! It was one of the cutest things I have ever seen in a tavern...this dog was intently staring at the bartender with such a desperate hope in his eye, just needing, "one more." The server calmly explained he had already had too many! Unlike the Gracie O'Malley's we have been to in the Six Corners area, the Edgewater location does not serve food, but they do have a popcorn machine with so many seasonings on hand. There is also a nice collection of board games. Their draft list is not too shabby. There are many Bob Ross collectibles displayed, which is fun! Upon checking in on Yelp, we discovered we would be rewarded with a free shot as a thank you for checking in. The bartender was not aware of this promotion, but honored it without questioning us once I showed him the notification on the app. Overall, it was a fun time, and we will certainly be back!

Gracie’s is a great neighborhood bar with reasonably priced drinks, where you’ll find people from all walks of life. The atmosphere is super friendly and inclusive, with a staff that go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Cara, the GM, has a knack for adding special touches to the place (my favorite newest addition is the giant unicorn sprinkler outside for those hot summer days). Gracie’s is also dog friendly, which is a huge bonus if your a dog lover like me :)

This is the perfect bar for wherever your night takes you. Great hospitality, amazing service, welcoming regulars, and a bartender who can make top of the line cocktails. No other place can top this. Gracie O’Malley’s Edgewater always meets all the requests and is always a GREAT TIME.

Wonderful place, Cara the bartender is very friendly and attentive, there is a great selection of craft beers and ciders on tap, plus many more seltzers, beers, and ciders in bottles and cans... I really appreciate that she also carries a lot of non alcoholic beverages for those of us who like to take it easy... many TVs for any sport you would like to watch, and always fresh popcorn with an amazing choice of seasonings to choose from- I always enjoy the company there
