This is our go-to for Chinese food, even though it's far from where we live. The past two visits, however, left me less than thrilled. One of the visits, the normally delectable gravy had a bitter burnt flavor, which unfortunately infused into the egg foo young and the extra gravy I purchased had to be trashed. On a subsequent visit, again the gravy was an issue. For people like me, who love how the gravy marries with the egg foo young, and is an added flavor profile to the rice, be it fried or white, the flavor is important. On this occasion, the gravy was made with cornstarch and had little of the flavor I've come to know them for and the green onion in the egg foo young and fried rice was hardly visible and detectable.I decided to share my experience with the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised with their going to lengths to validate my complaint. Their apologetic response and willingness to make good on my order, by agreeing to replace that portion of the order.I've yet to return, but I'll update this review once that time occurs.

Had the Chicken Lo Mein and Spicy Orange Chicken. The Lo Mein had absolutely no flavor but it looked so good smh I had to drown it in sweet and sour and soy. The Orange Chicken tasted weird and was incredibly hard.

I ordered a combination rice with extra meat, a small veggie rice, and two egg rolls. I had the order picked up and found that the total was $46.95. I called in to see why the price was so high and was told that I was charged an extra fee independently for the shrimp, beef, as well as chicken in the combination rice. This makes absolutely no sense as a regular combination rice is $11.95 yet he found it fair to charge a customer $15 just in extra meat alone without mentioning it while ordering.

This was for a Delivery... Not Nice at all. I asked for extra sweet and sour for a JUMBO order and was refused.

This place has the worst customer service. Good customer service is important to me. I may not matter to others but it certainly matters to me. I have a serious problem when people don't make eye contact while speaking with me.They apologized saying please don't go We will do better. Not with me because I'm particular about where and who I spend my money with. I value Great customer service 100%.They will Never get a cent of mine. Never Ever!!!

Okay I'm biased. I've been eating here for 20+ years, for a while they fell off (those who know, know), but they got back on track and I love them.Is the customer service questionable? Possibly, but you're not coming here for that, you're coming for good (and sometimes greasy) Chinese food to eat at home, and they are not mean, just busy, and you should have less than 2 minutes of interaction if you know your order in advance. Do they charge for chopsticks? Yes (ugh), but we know that a norm on the south side. Here is what I keep in rotation for orders:Szechwan chicken (unique recipe and no one else I've seen makes it like them)Plain fried rice (I get mine spicy and dark with no bean sprouts)Cantonese pan fried noodles (plain and lightly fried with extra green onion)Crab rangoon Mongolian beefChicken noodle soup (when I'm sick)Friends faves:DuckShrimp with lobster sauce (my friend has been eating this for 20 years)I've tried the lo mein noodles and they are good, I would kinda pass on the egg rolls and the fried scallops. The salt and pepper shrimp were pretty good, but if you like those dishes, I think they're better eaten fresh from a kitchen and lose their crispiness during travel. This spot is a gem to me and a must stop!

There was an older lady who was mopping when we got to the door, so I thought they closed early. She was just cleaning while the lobby was empty and she was so polite! I liked that! The food was fresh, hot and everything was delicious. I have never had the chicken lo mein before but I'm glad I tried it!

This takeout location does not have respect for ppl who pay to eat their undesirable food. I’ve ordered through Uber eats and they forgot some things I’ve ordered with no intentions of investigating their rushed job. The man I spoke with didn’t even care that the mistake was made and hung up on me.

I ordered the spicy orange chicken and chicken fried rice. The fried rice was fresh and served hot. The orange chicken however, was hot and hard, as if it has been old. It hurt to chew some pieces. I wonder if it's one of their less popular dishes. The lunch special was $10 which is a good price, but the quality of my main dish was not it. Also, if you pay with card your min is $10 so make sure you get something else to bring it to 10 or more.Customer service was really good, friendly, informative and quick.FYI Take out only, no dine in area or delivery.Parking: Parking on the street was quick to find
