Didn't eat here but I wish I would have after where I did eat lol. A very nice neighborhood pup, lots of character and with lots of beer selections as well. The bartender was very knowledgeable and willing to let u try a small sample of anyone of the beers u were curious about. Definitely would go back but next time definitely eating there. ?

Great atmosphere and nice outside patio area in the back. There house beers aren’t brewed by them, but they are both delicious. Nice extensive beer, cider, and wine menu. The food was great; we got the bread and butter platter, a salad and the pork sandwich. All were delicious. Those fries with the garlic aioli!!!!! Wow.

Love that every Belgian beer they have is served in the beer specific glassware. Also best muscles and fries in the city hands down.

One of my favorite places in the city. I dig sitting at the old bar with only a few people as the bar keeps give excellent recs and tastes of the drafts, and their Belgians are the best selection on the city. Weather permitting the back patio is great! I have a hard time not getting the mussels and frites.

First time visit to this Chicago landmark. It did not disappoint. Amazing atmosphere where a lifetime collection of enameled beer memorabilia in an old brick building. Great beer selection of Belgian beers and craft beer and an equally impressive menu. Friendly and attentive staff gives it a neighborhood feel that you just want to go back to again and again. Can't wait for my next trip to Chicago.

"BLUE" he calls himself, is one of the worst humans I have ever encountered, avoid this spot moving forward if you can. My go to for so long, very sad a single person can ruin such an institution in Andersonville, but he has. I will not be back, patron of over a decade speaking, used to be in there multiple times per week.

A very large rotation of craft beers on draft, some of which are local, some of which are domestic microbrews, and many international selections as well, especially featuring Belgians. The frites are delicious and a great sharing snack. Mussels are a specialty as well. Most of the beers are around ~$10, so your tab can add up quickly. I come here every week and always find something new on the beer list that I’m interested in and I’ve never tried before.

My favorite place in town! The food is exceptional, ambiance charming with a European feel. The patio is well worth any wait. My favorite servers work here and are fabulous!

Hopleaf has a huge selection of beers and their food is great. My favorite are the mussels. They’re consistently good and never grainy. The fries that accompany the mussels come with an amazing garlic aioli. The portion is solid. The only downside to Hopleaf is the first room when you walk in can get very crowded and hectic. The first time we went it wasn’t very clear that there was another section where you could be seated and be away from the chaos. Other than that, great spot.
