Very rude staff and overpriced goods, we went elsewhere due to the disrespect

Neil Kimmet

Rude staff that is not helpful. Plenty of other shops to buy the same stuff with better service.

This is a nice Hudson News. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This Hudson News is laid out in the same manner as the rest of them, so I came in looking for a copy of The Economist, which is available at some Hudson News locations but not all. This location had several lifestyle, news, business, and sports magazines, but I couldn’t find the beloved one I was looking for. Dismayed, I picked up a white chocolate Reese’s that was available for sale along with other common candies and chocolates. However, when I reached for the candy I saw copies of The Economist; they were on the main counter instead of a shelf! Elated, I grabbed one and waited in line to purchase it. There was a long line, so another employee opened a second register and checked me out. I gave this Hudson News five stars because it has a good selection of literature and is a welcome reprieve among the arduous hell scape that is the Terminal 5 arrivals area of O’Hare Airport. They also have refrigerated items for sale as well.

Exists to sell overpriced garbage but doesn't even try to keep enough masks in stock to sell when there are people constantly asking (at any location in the US I've been too)

Too expensive food and really dry sandwiches. Only condiment packets offered were mustard, but had to add a bunch of mustard to get the sandwich moist. At $12 a sandwich they quality should be a lot better. Also, these sandwiches were just placed out so not an issue of them sitting out, but of the sandwich intrinsically not being good.

Products are five times more expensive than in non-airport locations.

They charge too much money now. Before it used to be a little cheaper few years ago. But a bottle drink they will charge you 5 dollars, when you can get the same drink downstairs of T5 at vending machine for 2 dollars. Everything in store is too expensive, don’t come here

Paid 4.69 5.31 after tax for 18.5 oz tea wowwwwwww. RIP off I hate this airport. Theres hardley anything to choose from so they can get away with ripping you off

Disgustingly expensive, because this is the only store at this terminal. 20 minute wait in line. Another example why ORD is not extraordinary, but a rip-off! Your tax dollars at work.
