When I say Huegah can make the best custom menu tailored to you & your partner (including a vegan kimchi that was so good people thought my Korean mother made it), I mean it! Multiple guests told us that our wedding menu was the most unique, memorable and best they've tasted so far. We had a lot of specific, random ideas/requests and they were open to all of it and helped so much with the planning process! Not only are they really organized and communicative, they are super kind and warm from the very first contact. They were also very accommodating with a 2nd tasting to make sure the menu was perfect. Paul & Angie are truly a power duo and we are so grateful to them and their team for making our wedding visions come to life!

After receiving menus and information from countless other bland, similar wedding caterers in Chicago, we heard about Huegah. As people, Angie & Paul are warm, fun, talented, tasteful and cool. They are far more flexible than anyone else to whom we spoke, and understood and granted our wishes with ease. The food was beautiful, unique and delicious, and many of our guests said that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The main course was served family-style, which encouraged conversation among guests and allowed everyone to prepare their plate as they wished. (There was plenty of everything.) I wish we were getting married again tomorrow so we could hire them again.

We worked with Angie and Paul of Huegah Catering for my sister-in-law's bridal shower a few months back (I've been meaning to write this review for a while!) and were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, the beautiful presentation of each dish and the professionalism throughout the planning experience.We selected 7-8 Hors d' oeuvres and 3-4 desserts and every single one of them was perfect. The shower theme was a cocktail garden party, which I shared with Angie just so they were aware of the vibe -- I did not expect them to present the single-serve the crudités and dip in little terra cotta pots with the greenery of the vegetables sticking out the top -- it was so adorable.That attention to detail, paired with Angie being incredibly responsive to questions leading up to the event, and the rave reviews we received from guests about the food made working with Huegah a 10 out of 10 experience! Highly recommend!

Disappointing. Placed an small corporate catering order yesterday for tomorrow. When I entered the delivery details, their site stated delivery was available. I placed the order and received a confirmation. This morning I received an email that our order was cancelled. No explanation. I called the number provided on the email. The line disconnected twice while I was waiting to speak with someone. The person told me that the order was cancelled because they do not have enough staff to deliver the order and they require a 48-hour notice. I completely understand these reasons; however, their website should indicate this and not allow me to place the order. Now I have less than 24 hours to get this order placed. Poor service and communication.

Wow… Angie and Paul at Huegah were the dream team for my wedding day. We did a family style dinner and the dishes were not only delicious but were also so beautiful as if they were part of the reception decor. The charcuterie table was stunning with so much variety and the homemade mini desserts were a hit.I can’t stress enough though how important it was to have a caterer that cared not only about the food being tasty, but also that the whole night was executed seamlessly. We got married at Ovation which requires the ceremony space to get flipped to reception (incredible venue, btw). Huegah’s team managed that process and had the room transformed to perfection. We saw them meeting with their staff pre-wedding, discussing the what, how and when making sure all their servers were on the same page to deliver exceptional service during the reception. The bar tenders were fantastic, too. We didn’t have to worry about a thing other than having a great time.Thank you so much Paul, Angie, and the Huegah team for making our wedding night an absolute dream!

Paul and Angie are the most power-y of power couples that you most definitely want catering and organizing your wedding or event! They are so much more than caterers, and go above and beyond to make your day perfect and unique to you and your partner's vision. They were flexible and thoughtful in helping us replan our wedding several times as Covid came crashing into our 2020 plans. They practiced the safest levels of food prep and serving, working with us endless on creative solutions to still serve food in fun ways. After vetting SO many caters for our 150 person (original pre-covid) wedding, Huegah checked every single box that no other caterer could. Fit in our budget, had unique and delicious dishes, provided the plates, linens, etc, printed menus, traveled, adjusted to our tasting needs, and were prompt and professional at every single step. Throughout the year and a half of planning we asked for so many additional things - gold silverware, fancier wine glasses, signature cocktails, upscale plastic flutes for outdoor use, custom bar set up, decor setup in venue, high tops and more. They delivered on everything! We can't thank them enough for making the planning process seamless, the day special for us and our guests, serving up the most beautifully delicious food and drinks, and their overall professionalism. My fiancé and I were introduced to Huegah catering through family. From the very beginning, they were absolutely wonderful to work with. This was something that was really important to us and something that definitely sets them apart from other caterers we reached out to. They also made sure we knew that everything can be customized. Our entire wedding menu from the appetizers to the main dishes were all curated specifically for us. This made us feel so special! They truly listen and pay attention to exactly what you are looking for. We also mentioned that we wanted something different. Not your typical wedding menu and let me tell you, Paul and Angie delivered. Everything we suggested / wanted they made happen! Their food might as well be Michelin starred it was THAT good. I was blown away. Their professionalism also gets an easy 5 stars. I can not recommend them enough.

Paul and Angie went above and beyond to make our little wedding absolutely perfect. We needed catering, service, and bartending and only reached out about 3 weeks before the event, but Paul made it happen! We worked together on an awesome taco bar menu - mahi, steak, chicken, and veggie tacos, rice and beans, corn and tomato salad. He also did appetizers - the cutest mini tamales and mexican shrimp ceviche. He and his whole team arrived early to make sure set up was perfect, then stayed late to help us with some extra clean up. We're still getting calls from our guests saying how amazing the food was. I would 100% recommend Paul - the most incredible experience.

My husband and I used Huegah to cater our June 2017 wedding in Evansville, IL. Our wedding location was about a 3 hour drive from where we lived and with our work schedules we were not able to make the drive to do a tasting before the big day. Most people would be a bit nervous making such a large commitment (the meal is a HUGE part of the big day, and often times one of the biggest expenses). To be honest, when we first reached out to caterers we felt that way too. However, Paul and Angie were an absolute DREAM to work with. They were insanely prompt via phone and email with answering any and all questions we had. Again, due to our work schedules, we had limited amount of time to chat via phone, but when we did, Paul was *on it* with the details. He asked us questions that really made us feel like he was catering OUR wedding, not just a wedding. He really wanted to make sure our food fit our vision. When we gave him the option of picking what he thought would work best with the rest of our menu, he hit it out of the park. I really cannot say enough good things about Paul, Angie and the staff they brought in for our wedding. Everyone was professional, cheerful, attentive, and generally nice to be around. We even threw a big wrench into the whole event when I found out I was pregnant 5 days before our wedding. We weren't ready to tell family & friends, but we told Paul and Angie. They discretely updated our menu right away. They even were able to grab some sparkling cider for me that visually matched the wine parings the rest of our guests were drinking during the meal. I genuinely could not recommend a better caterer than Huegah. You will NOT be disappointed!
