Ok maybe I've been spoiled by other known Mediterranean restaurants such as Shawarma Inn and Pita inn but my experience @ the Hummus grill wasn't to my liking. I ordered chicken shawarma plate, I actually wanted a combination plate with shawarma and kefta kebab but they refused to sell it to me saying that it wasn't in the register so i had to order it separately. It's on the register at other places, anyways the shawarma was actually dry. The kefta kabob was actually the best ? very moist and juicy. Food is served on a throw away plate with plastic utensils. I personally wouldn't eat here again. There are better options.
I just think it’s over priced. About $5 too much. I ordered the house mix. Very good taste and all but to pricey. I would order more often but again to over priced.

The place is clean. The hummus tastes great and good drink selection. I had the gyro wasn't a fan.. too salty for my liking.

Everything here is delicious! I’ve had a lot of the fast casual Mediterranean spots in the area and hummus grill is exceptional. The gyro and the lentil soup are my go to but can’t go wrong with anything!
The food was fresh, tastfull and priced more than fair. 1st time trying it and can't wait to go back.Vegetarian options: Very tasty vegetarian options ?Kid-friendliness: They took the time to explain the food and it was very delicious ?
Personal opinion this place is AMAZING. I stopped eating meat for years but went back to lamb. This place has delicious juicy perfectly seasoned lamb chops. Went back the next day... REAL DEAL.
Great bang for your buck. The appetizers are to be shared because there's a lot of food. Large servings of hummus on the plates with lots of meat and rice. The feta Fries are pretty good. The fries are heavily breaded for that long lasting crunch, but feta has a hard time melting so it's difficult getting any on the fries without a fork. It's like they wanted to make garlic parm fries but because it's a Mediterranean place they had to go with feta. They cook the falafel perfectly as well, crispy on the outside without over cooking the inside.Vegetarian options: FalafelDietary restrictions: Can be veganParking: There's street parking in front, not sure if it's paid or free. Usually all spots are takenKid-friendliness: Healthy and flavorfulWheelchair accessibility: First floor, no stairs
One of the best Arabic food restaurants in Chicago, and there is a young man at the cashier, an Egyptian, Asal Al Asal, the height of sophistication in dealing, the beauty of manners, and the ribs and grills. They have a wonderful experience. Don’t miss it. If you want the right Arabic taste, go there.
