10 stars?? This place is incredible. The staff are so amazing. The treats are incredible. We missed the cinnamon rolls by about an hour, so we are going to have to go back for those. But everything is gluten free, vegan, and no refined sugars. And you won't miss any of it! The bars are incredible. Each has their own unique flavor and they are totally reasonably priced for what you get. We will definitely be going back. FYI they also ship if you're not local!

Not only is everything delicious, the owners are the absolute best humans. The raw bars are unreal! The ingredients are so guilt-free, they satisfy any dessert cravings you’re having and overall are just a 10/10. As someone who as prioritized her health over the last couple years but has a severe sweet tooth, finding ingrained has been life changing. Also, if you’re lucky enough to catch something savory on the menu, snag it you will not regret it.

I absolutely love the frozen raw bars. They taste like an ice cream sandwich from your childhood but 1000x better from Syd’s creativity with the flavors. Also don’t skip the savory menu. The made-to-order sour dough bread is SO good. It’s the only bread I buy now. It’s the best gluten free sour dough bread I ever had. The soups are also really hearty and delicious. Honestly you can’t go wrong ordering anything from Ingrained. I’ve never had anything but the best experience.Yes, the price are more expensive than your box of Oreos. That’s because 1, it’s a small local company run by a woman Syd and her husband, not a giant corporation 2. All of their ingredients are ethically sourced, better for your health and longevity ingredients. She may use dates for example to sweeten a dessert instead of refined white sugar so yes that will cost more. 3. She uses superfoods like Maca and Spirulina that are amazing for your health. Yes that will cost more than industrial flours and dyes. The owners were super helpful and patient with our group while we asked a ton of questions. They are very knowledgeable and ready to explain how they make their products and what kinds of ingredients they use. They also provided us with free samples, which was so generous. I purchased three items to bring home and I'm so glad I did - the banana bread cup, the twix cookie dough bar, and the twix snickers balls - loved them all! They were all delicious and I will definitely be a repeat customer! Thanks so much to the owners for filling a gap in the Chicago vegan food scene - yummy and healthy treats that you don't have to feel bad about!

I will go well out of my way to pick up some of their products, and while anything peanut butter or cookie dough is my preference, I am always satisfied (and often overwhelmingly shocked) by all of their other flavors.
