SO SO GOOD. Irazu is a Chicago institution and Henry, the owner, is awesome. If you have not been here, do yourself a favor and go. I get the steak burrito (upgrade to skirt steak) with avocado and then I pour Irazu salsa (the best salsa ever) on it. It is so good that I have to come in to get this burrito fix every week. I was out of town last week and I couldn't make it in for my burrito, so now I am currently experiencing Irazu burrito withdrawal. Anyway. Go! Support this wonderful local business!

My husband and I visited for a late day brunch and this place never disappoints. I have not been in a few years but the warm feeling it has left me, has not changed. Their Casado and sandwich were delicious, their yuca fries THE BEST and their passionfruit margaritas is delicious. Excited to come back for their live music and when they open their bar!

Not BYOB anymore. Waited like 20 minutes for a pitcher of drinks. The staff is really nice. Food is a very good value for the price. Atmosphere is great in the front room. They might have some growing pains to work out with offering their own drink service.

Healthy flavorful authentic cool. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but some standouts areOatmeal licuado, cabbage beet avocado salad with heart of palm, pepito steak sandwich, veggie burrito add mushrooms, veggie plate of the day, I could go on. Friendly staff and family owned.
I’ve been living in Indiana for 5 years so naturally I miss my home country. As soon as I tasted their beans it transported me to my home. I love this food so much! Muchas gracias! Pura vida!??

The frejoles (beans) were amazing. Same with the Casado. The food is delicious, feels like home. The service and the personal is super nice and kind.

Great food and great service! I just had empanadas for dinner but everyone I was with said their food was amazing. Small restaurant so I would advise making a reservation. It's also BYOB which is always great! They even have mixers you can buy like pina colada. I look forward to trying one of them next time.

Nice place, I've been twice. My recent visit I got two sandwiches that were both quite good. The first visit was some years ago, there were lots of uncontrollable issues at the time that seem to have been handled. Worth a stop if you're in the area.
