Islands Cafe was deeeee-lish and Asel, the woman who works there, was very nice, provided excellent customer service and is a really good cook! I got a chicken sandwich (that came with plantain chips and garlic oil) and a passion fruit tea with strawberry popping. O. M. G! Everything so good! My sandwich was one of the best pressed sandwich I've ever had! Asel toasted it perfectly. The chicken was cooked just right. Juicy and hot and cooked just the right amount. Cooked until done, but not overdone. All toppings were just the right amount too. The bubble tea was great as well. I can't wait to return to try their chicken with maduros, black beans and rice lunch special. Thank you Asel and Islands Cafe!

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this gem located in a strip mall with dunkin & with off street parking. I had a great Cuban sandwich, a pineapple sushi with mango popping balls and a short but pleasant conversation with the owner. When I visit the windy city again this will definitely be a go to!

I'm glad I took a chance and went in. They have more milk tea options than it would seem, and I was happy they had a simple oolong option. The staff was pleasant and the woman working there was nice enough to walk my drink out to me when it was done. Would happily continue supporting

Cute local spot with tasty bubble tea (strawberry), bubble waffle, mango ice cream. We've been there a couple times and also tried the coconut water and egg rolls. Really nice owners who were attentive and "funny and nice" according to the kids. Check them out if you are near!

The ambience of this restaurant is very vibrant. There are lots of variety of Boba teas which are unique and very tasty. I had tried it for the first time and I really enjoyed it .Moreover the staff working here is super friendly and everytime you walk in they treat you in a really good manner.

BEWARE! This company works in cahoots with a tow service. If you park in their lot they’ll put a boot on your car & take you to the restaurant to pay $160. Would not let me leave until I pay them. Absolute scam that this restaurant & tow company have together.
