Last Friday my wife and I dropped into Joes for the first time and we weren’t disappointed! We were greeted by friendly staff and live music! David was our server and he was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and had great food recommendations! My wife and I tried a few appetizers and the pizza. Everything we ate was delicious! This place is a 10/10 and we will definitely be going back!

Party of 12, sat around 6 on a SaturdayWe did get bread, but for the table, it was served with 2 bowls of oil - not very sanitary (much prefer to pour my own).They didn't have enough flatware for the table. Since we ordered 2 pizzas and a few simple pasta dinners, we made due.One pizza was room temp... one meal came 5 minutes after everything else.Asked 3 times for Parmesan Cheese... finally came when everyone had finished eating. Never been to an Italian restaurant where the cheese either wasn't on the table, or it was served alongside the food.Overall, the food was just averageBottom line, our server shouldn't be a server. Worse part, is that with a larger group, gratuity was forced (no incentive for the server)Atmosphere - lots of hard surfaces, so it was very noisyThey've also jammed too many tables into the front - it's like an obstacle course getting through to the back.Parking: Only choice is to park on the street - be careful, as with many Chicago neighborhoods, it's "permit-only"

Joe’s on Higgins where do I start? The food was very good I just don’t recommend the pizza. The pizza didn’t have enough sauce and the cheese with salty. I don’t know what it is. I’m a big guy that loves food and I just didn’t love that pizza, but what was good was a calamari and the wings you must try the wings, and by far the best thing was the drinks 9 out of 10 just because the pizza was trash go check them out. They are on Higgins.

Worst food I've had in a restaurant. Salty salty salty. The eggplant in the Eggplant Parmesan was chewy. Huge portion with excessive cheese. Nothing subtle. Everything too much, salt, cheese and portion. It was truly that bad. I'm sorry but have to be honest. Ordered pasta because the pizza was so disappointing. Don't know why with investment in new location and brand new built out place why not invest in a real chef?

The best pizza we have ever had, can't believe it took so long to find out about this place! The extra thin crust and flavorful, buttery cheese is so so amazing. And beyond the pizza, the vesuvio potatoes are delicious + all of the pasta we've tried is better than the Italian restaurants that charge 5x the price for subpar dishes and small portions. (So far we have tried the vodka gnocchi and fettuccine)

This is my best friend's favorite pizza for years, since their original location. I can definitely see why it's her favorite and she will travel over an hour to go there. The whole experience was incredible, friendly team, the owner is still there and very hands on. Everything was fresh, Delicious, and made with love. We can't wait to go back!
